I've flown for 20 years now, and instructed a large part of that. I can tell you, you must have an instructor who likes teaching and sharing their love of flying to others. Many are 200 hour wonders out to just get hours for airline jobs. NEVER use one of these jokers, you will not get the quality of instruction nor a pleasurable experience. A rule a tell potential students, make sure your instructor has a little snow on the top.
Wow. Great video. Makes me wish I would have had a good instructor when I took my lessons. I ended up quitting because of him. I wish I had the same experience you did. Amazing video.
I too share the dream of flying, and have longed to soar above the clouds since I was a child. I am 64 and I would love to get my PPL. I have taken a couple of 'Discovery' flights and the feeling is indescribable. If the Lord should bless me with the means I hope to get my PPL someday. God bless.
What an awesome video and wonderful message, not only to those with a passion and love of flying, but to apply to all aspects of life! Thanks for sharing, I look forward to my intro flight here in Raleigh, NC in the next few months! It is nice to hear someone express so eloquently the feeling that you just can't describe to others about flying.
Great video and great message. I realized my life-long dream of flying several years ago in a Flight Design CTsw light sport aircraft. My wife and I are having the times of our lives in N293CT. If you'd like an escort as you fly through NC, I'll be there.
I had the chance to meet Michael a few weeks ago, and was greatly impressed with his extremely friendly personality and passion for flying. His message to follow your dreams is very inspiring and I'm sure will help others to chase their dreams also. I wish him lots of luck in his upcomming journey across America.
lol, im michael too your wright! it is too weird! and this is something i have wanted to do ever since i went skydiving, i would love to take control of the aircraft instead of just jumping outta it! its so fantastic being in the air, its completely freeing!
i really want to fly. i think i would like to get a sport pilot license. id like to be able to land/takoff almost anywhere. ive looked at an stol 750 online but it looks kind of ugly to me. this video was posted on my birthday... a sign maybe? LOL
Very cool, narative! Although I'm still unsure about the foldable wings (to allow for storage in small area) of the Remos Gx. I want wings rigid as steel! :)
Wonderful video! Very touching. I agree with Leonardo da Vinci; "For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return."
You are a true flyer
