@ElecticGuruofHotness Cisgender or cisgenered- a label for individuals who have a match between the gender they were assigned at birth, their bodies, and their personal identity (yay wikipedia) I assume you meant MTF and FTM. MTF- Male to Female and FTM- Female to Male (referring to the direction of transition). I had a gynecomastia correction to remove the breast tissue that developed as a result of being female birth-assigned.

@hf12px I have actually learned recently that he is no longer performing FTM surgery at all. There has been some kind of argument with MSP - something along the lines of he is not allowed to charge for a surgery that is covered by MSP but the MSP payout is only 2k which wont cover his costs because he operates out of a private facility. Bottom line is he can lose his license by performing the surgery. MSP cost Canada a VERY talented surgeon.

@nolix01 Wow, thanks for replying so quickly. That's definitely disappointing though, it seems to me that the majority of rules about SRS by MSP are just making things unnecessarily complicated and costly instead of actually trying to help people.

Last I heard there were only one or two surgeons performing FTM surgery (in my area), and they had also had issues with MSP..which is why I wondered who did yours.

Hello, I could use help from you. I have an injury and need to get my clavicle angled up (extremity higher than center), like you have. Your trapezius and teres major (& others in the system) seem to be doing a great job. Question: Am I right in training the teres major first, since—in my view—the rhomboids & upper trap (those that elevate scapula and pull shoulders inward and backwards) can't be strengthened without its synergistic action?
