  • Do I need to redo them every night or will they last a cpl of days?

  • you said you watch other people video too so witch video and can you show how they teach you

  • do you think this will work on non relaxed hair ? thankss !(:

  • @mikaykay21 I would say that your hair would have to be some what straight first. Maybe even just blowing it out a bit first, then put in the pin curls. HTH

  • @MissJassy28 Thankss ! ( :

  • what products do you use in your hair?

  • Have u ever tried the "finger roll" method to pin curl?

  • you explained this so well.. thank you!

  • Really love your video!!! You're very down to earth and confident simultaneously. Now I'm a pin curl pro!

  • I am super late viewing and responding to this video but thank you so much for showing me how to pin curl. I never could get this down but I finally have learned how to pin curl thanks to this video! Thanks MissJassy

  • thats your opinion against mine. Her voice sounds find but if you hear itfor to long it gets to me. I wasn't trying to be rude or anything.

  • @xxDawlinSingerxx i think its becuz i hv watched her vids over and over so im used to it. i didn't mean to offend you im sorry

  • thts fine :)

  • My hair is not as long as yours but I am going to try this tonight.

    Thank You

  • thanks so much for this, I am trying to transition and I know heat is a major killer. can't wait to try this! :-)

  • thank you so much!! i've been trying to pin curl my hair for months XD

  • Haha, oh and btw, I love the extra commentary you do! Like how you keep asking us questions like "can you guys see that?"! I can totally tell you work with kids. It's like a total trait of the business. You're the absolute jam, I totally just subscribed! :D

  • I saw the video with your end results! You look so cute with those curls! I usually curl my hair with heat but it takes soooooo much longer than I'd like it to. I'm totally going to try this tonight before I go to sleep because the end result looks like you spent forever on it when it's actually really very simple. Thank you so much for the tutorial! I'm stoked to do this!

  • Nice vid i loved it OMG ;)

  • Thank you! I love retro styles and even though I do perm my hair it is healthy and shiny but I hate sleeping in curlers and want a break from having to wake up and do something to it every day while maintaining style. I will be using mousse, setting lotion or a little spray on each section, but I can't wait to see what I look like tomorrow. This was better than all the pics I Googled through for instruction!

  • um i did ur pin curl method

put when i took the pin out

my hair wasnt curly or anything like that

im just wondering when i do , do my in curl is there a way that i can do for the curls to stay in my hair

um ive done pin curls about 4 times and each time it never work

    am i doing something wrong

  • u need mousse in your hair and it has to be damp (i use pantene) when you take them out there should be curls and then just hairspray so it lasts.

  • omq

    thnkss soo

    muchh!!

your tutorial wass da most helpful

i love ur method!! thnk youu alot =)

  • Hey I've watched a lot of tutorials on pin curls, and this one is by far the easiest to follow...hardly anyone else showed how they actually made the curl before pinning it down! Thanks!

  • thanks a bunch

  • shut up you need to stop hatin just cuz dont nobdy wana talk to you

  • she does talk a lot! and I obviously was not talking to "dee dee 9967". you must be a talker too!

  • yayy thank you. you're really pretty. ;p

  • TY alot..everybody else confuses me, lol. Now I can finally curl my hair without ending up like a deranged poodle. This is a great tutorial and I plan to check out more of your vids!

  • Pin curls are such a classic 1940's technique of curling hair... I have fine-ish hair that is not super fine, but not coarse either. Because you're african american, your hair will do whatever you want, but for me my ends might pop out if I attempt to wrap it around my fingers like that, but I'm going to try it. I'm going to get a middy hair cut so the curls will look similar to Marilyn Monroe. Oh, and woo hoo for CSI, I was kind of sad when Grissom left, but Laurence Fishburne is a great actor!

  • This is an amazing video...great job! i actually never knew that pin curls existed until I saw ur video so thank you. Keep up with the good job

  • nice vid... nd ur really pretty!

  • I was wondering if it's fine to just use 1 hairpen? Or if you have long hair should you use 2 hairpens

  • if it heavy den u can use 2

  • My granny, mother, aunties did there hair this way back in the day. I can't stand to sleep in rollers. So I guess this is the way I will go now for my hair. It seem to be very easy to do. I will be trying it some time today. I also don't like heat to my hair. When I go to the hair salon, I can't stay under the dryer the full time for my hair to dry. My hair holds water alot. Thanks for the demo. Very nice! :)

  • very good video on explaining how to do the pincurls i will be trying this soon i hope it comes out as well as yours

  • Great video ! how do you maintain the curls? how long will they last?

  • Thanks:) For me it only last a day. You can just redo the curls at night to keep the look.

  • I also pin curl my hair but i wanted to know after you wash/condition your hair. Do you air-dry then pin curl or do you curl your hair by roller setting or curling iron, then to mantain curls pin them?

  • I air-dry then pin curl. You can check out my air-dry video to see how I do it. HTH

  • wow thanks ive been looking for a video like this for a while

    :)

  • You're welcome. If you have any request let me know.

  • great video! how do you air dry your hair?

  • Thanks, I pull my hair back into a pony and put a roller on the ends so they don't get frizzy.

  • This was an awesome tut. I just followed along w/you while you were doing it and it worked perfectly. Thanx

  • Wonderful! I'm happy it worked for you:)

  • Do you have to wait untill the next day to take them down?

  • I always do, but you could try spritzing your hair with some water and then sitting under the dryer to set it. HTH, let me know how it works for you:)

  • Thanks so much...I tried it and it came out so cute and you said my name right :)

  • You're welcome...I'm happy it worked out for you:)

  • Great video..thanks for sharing. I will be pin curling my hair tonight. Heat is a killer on the hair and I'm trying to find different things to do that don't involve heat.
