  • Great video, thanks for the info.

  • Looks like you've got a diver on a NATO strap there. Are you a watch guy as well?

  • Great video. I really like the intro..very classic

    Takk ;)

  • Great videos on making a pipe! I have an ebuchon kit and have let it sit because I've been kind of lost. This has inspired me!

  • Unique advises, thank you so much my friend you help a lot of people with your videos! Keep up the good work my fellow pipe smoker :-)

  • @Grenadieros Thank you sir. I'm glad you like it.

    Cheers,

    -Mike

  • Greate tools. I hope not to offend if I copy such. In a few days, maybe weeks, I will do my pipe. It will be a reference to the Eltang Cutty. I was given an Rustication using a wire brush on the drill. I did meake a couple of pipes, of Briar and cherry wood. Certainly the work on the pipe created an article on fajka.net.pl

    A few comments.

When bending the mouthpiece, you need to insert fitted inside the wire.

Czechoslovakia no longer are the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

    Yours sincerely

  • Underbar serie!

  • @MrMicke02 Trevligt att du gillade den.

    Tack!

    -Micke

  • Excellent addition to the Pipe Carving School series, Mike! This series of vids is really one of the most useful on YT.

    Cheers,

    Crow

  • Wonderful addition Flieger, this is going in my Fabs immediately!! One thing though, how do you make those tools? And of course I dont mean the dremmel hahaha even though I reckon if you had to you would come up with the Fliegermel!! Send you my best!! Tx for the upload ;-)

  • @LondonsPipe LOL! You want me to do an extra video on how I make my tools? Nah, I think you have to use your own fantasy a little and figure it out for yourself. Almost anything that leaves a mark on the briar can be used... let your imagination guide you and get creative... THEN you come back here and show me how YOU did! :)

    Cheers mate!

    -Mike

  • @MountainBriar Hi Dobbin,

Thanks for watching! I'm interested in rustication techniques too and I'm always on the hunt for tools that will give me an exiting pattern on my pipes.

    Cheers,

    -Mike

  • thank you m8 ;-)

  • @cressy7isback You are welcome! :)

    Cheers,

    -Mike

  • Superb video Mike. You have given me inspiration. I shall start looking for some raw materials.

    Cheers

    Dean

  • @dohngl Thanks Dean! I'm always happy when I can inspire people to create stuff of their own. Good Luck!

  • Something like this I have been expected, but I first saw it live. It's looks very simply and difficult in same time. Just great video. The great mystery of rustication solved!;-) Of course, I add this video to my favourites immediately.

    Cheers

    Igor

  • @ZubrisLV Thanks Igor! Pipe rustication is only a matter of getting an uniformed, rough surface... there's 100's of ways of doing that. :) I just read about something called "Fireblast" that i'm going to try some day.

    Cheers mate!

    -Mike

  • Glad you finally decided to do this video, good job

  • @bianbrian Cheers! Thanks for watching mate.

    -Mike

    Cheers,

    Paulo

  • @PRPIPES Thanks Paulo, glad you liked it!

    cheers,

    -Mike

  • Very interesting, Mike! I think it would be a great hobby for people with a lot of patience. If my hands were in better shape I'd give it a shot. ;)

  • @Naturainfinity you can just reap the rewards of others' hard work!

  • @thepypehype Sounds good to me! ;-)

  • @Naturainfinity Thank you Donna,

Yes, it takes a bit of patience... but so does pipe smoking. But I understand if your hands are shot. Pipe carving by hand takes a toll on your wrists. :)

    Cheers,

    -Mike

  • wow very cool video thank you

  • @maffers7087 Cheers mate, glad you liked it!
