Texas, like every other state, is a part of a federation, not an empire or kingdom. Being in a federation, the states are afforded rights. The fed govt has long over stepped its bounds. The signing of a contract does not disallow rights allowed to the states by the US Constitution. Texas will still take the Tamiflu because we are still a part of this country and its in the best interest of its citizens. No states reacted to Clinton's 8 yr stint the way they are to Obama's newly obtained office.

Why are the unionists so violent. I've yet to hear any Texas secessionist advocate violence against anyone. Any union that has to resort to force to keep its membership has some serious problems. If you don't like Texas, why would you want to force us to be part of your country? After all, we're a pretty conservative lot, and we'll likely do everything we can to obstruct your new messiah if you force us to stay.

Maybe we could just invoke our right to split into five state. Ten senators from Texas just might be able to put a stop to Obama's treason.

FYI,several states have secession clauses in their state constitutions,including New Jersey & Rhode Island.Jefferson Davis was acquitted of treason because his lawyers proved there was no law against secession.If anybody is a traitor it's people like Obama & Pelosi who are trashing our Constitution.
