this is how the japanese play. they play more so off of frame data and timing rather than spectacular power moves all the time. spamming fb is part of their strat. Its just how they play. Or atleast thats what ive been noticing

@KanameTousen Well the comp will always be there to take a cheap ass loss whereas people will either develop strategies for those kinds of players or they simply won't play anymore. I play Fuerte and have found a pretty damn good strat against spammers and it's hilarious when I dizzy a Sagat or any other shoto :)

@quiksilver1014 Viper is a bad choice to choose against FB spammers that have close range game, mainly cause of her low health. Rufus i'd just have to say get half screen and go for the messiah and if they try to shoryuken or tiger uppercut get em with normal or EX snake strike

it's okay about the female thing, her character makes no sense because she's another shoto in a rooster filled with 4 shotos already her Sakura Otoshi is punishable especially if i'm my favorite character Abel. I don't like Dan I just play him for fun and because his attacks are some of the strongest when they connect. and Shunpukyaku is the same as Otoshi if you know the hit box which I can simply jump back and if exed just duck then crouching Fierce

Not because she's low tier(I play El Ferute, Gen and Dan some times) but her character in street fighter 4 makes no sense partly beside hyper amounts of fan service that doesn't pay off just like all the Alpha characters that are in SF4.

Her animations are too long making her oh so exploitable to grabs and ultras and supers when doing a recovery frame. Her Stun and Stam meter are pretty low on the scale. and she's just another shoto character at the end of the day just female

Naw if they didn't bring Genki(the ninja from SF1 who is the rumored father of Ibuki) back into the fold I doubt they bring Masaru. anyway I believe if they bring in character patches it will ruin the game plus they already dismissed new/old characters being patched in since not everyone can patch.

I just came in on the tail end of whatever argument you're spamming out...but as far as I can tell, pulling off Tiger Shot after Tiger Shot isn't cheap. It's called SPACING. And Sagat's damn good at it. I haven't seen him really this good since SSFII.

The game is only popular in Japan, and those who still have arcades around them in America have played this game, and people are starting to argue about equality, balance and tiers? C'mon folks, let's wait until the game hits consoles and EVO '09 to decide which characters need tweaking. SF2 went through about 5 or 6 iterations before it was perfected (which is still debatable) and SF3 went through 3 before it was balanced... let's give SF4 some time to grow.

Safe tiger knee, due to fast recovery.

Great turtle and offensive game.

Great damage and pretty damn good stamina.

Easy as hell to link his Ultra, which is damn powerful.

First it's called a 'Strategy' because you know they can only do a few things which makes them open targets and it's called a fireball all pros call projectiles in SF Fireballs after the American translation of Hadoken, shows how much of a pro you are.... anyway dude Sagat can't really level up he's got great damage,health and stun all around so there's not much you can do to level him up but dosen't make him any less of a great character

It's combat sambo, fedors martial art which isn't exactly too common in MMA, unlike bjj or muay thai. If Fedor is the best in the world, then yea a streetfighting game benefits from playing off him same as they would best fighter(bruce lee) or best boxer(tyson,at the time). Alot of characters are based off of real people, it's too flukey for them to list the exact same bday to the day as well as the stoic look and personality. It's all good though, doesnt really matter but just saying
