  • Thanks!

  • actually your only supposed to do this with hefeweizen beer.... otherwise it is up to the individuals taste if they want to mix in the yeast- making it cloudy and bitter.

  • Thanks for the info!

  • Wheat beers should be drank out of a tall slim glass. Also, pour down the center and you'll generate huge layer of fluffy head. Pouring down the side is better for lagers and generic ales.

  • you should also use a glass that's proportional to the serving.

  • I will agree, but on the other hand, I should have poured up two beers.

  • well would like a fruit jar (thats the only glasses we got) change the taste any? and how do you know if a beer is filtered?

  • No any glass or plastic cup will be fine. Some will have it marked on the label, if you hold the bottle up to the light you will be able to see it in the bottom some times.

  • ah ok thanx. ive been drinkin sam adams

  • Thanks for posting this it's good information

  • Yea I see people drinking unfiltered beer without shaking the bottom up and then they dont like the beer. I hope this will help them, the flavors are in the bottom, you must do this to get the full effect of an unfiltered beer.
