@KANCERII Did you check the date of the video? It was before the SOCOM 4 Beta even launched. This was a highlight taken from a SONY PlayTest Party at the SXSW Music, Film, & Interactive Media Festival last march. The purpose of this video was to showcase unseen gameplay of SOCOM 4 (at the time) and the gamers who attended. If you are going to troll my little padawon, be sure you check the dates of videos.
this game is 3rd person so how are you going to see recoil and i really like this game i give this game a better than COD and all the trolls can crawl into a hole and get gang raped by SOCOM 4 Navy Seals
I'm going to reign .... this game is looking like it's going to be really really easy for skilled players for about a month or two, then all the nubs are going to get the hang of the easy learning curve, then bounce back like the first 3-4 months of CoD.

@zeezbanging LOL, I didn't know the map. And because of the camera angle being so close, I feel like I have to literally look DOWN at the ground at all times to be sure there's no cliffs coming. I know I won't be the ONLY noob out there falling to their death. I just had the balls to publicly show it for the sake of trying to get some changes on the camera view. I ain't scared of the trolls. :)
@SocomBQ11 Ever tried the Red Dot Scope? That's what he is using in this video. And the Red Dot has always allowed full auto in previous SOCOMs.... I would like to see some more recoil though across the board.
@SocomBQ11 Play the game. There has always been guns in Socom with little to now recoil especially with front grips and other attachments. You recoil crybabies crack me up.

@IIKlaplonGII the point is, no past socom had xp, yet they worked out successful so why put it in a new 1? zipper dub and are ruining a socom feeling, so f*** cod its a very different game overall.
@LogicaISocom Correct, but maybe a new ranking system is introduced. On the old SOCOM you could rank down based on your skills (Kill Death Ratio?) and maybe in SOCOM 4 you can rank up with XP and not rank down anymore. That's my preference anyways so I would be glad with it.
But I don't really care anymore since I bougt an Xbox 360. Might buy a PS3 in the near future for SOCOM because it kicks the shit out of any shooter available in my opinion.
@IIKlaplonGII The ranking system that we had made the ranks actually MEAN something, untill the hackers fked it up. with there only being so many slots for each rank, and better [layers getting better ranks, then 3-4 years after the release, a new player has a chance at getting a high rank, assuming that hes good. and btw, you dont lose rank untill you get above ensign. (socom 3). In a COD based experience rank up, it wouldnt take as long as socoms overall score system.

I'm really trying hard to look at the positives but the gameplay that "everybody" is saying so good, is really misleading... What would you really rate the GAMEPLAY from 1 to 10? (1 being very good...)
@lkearney29 You have to remember I was using a crappy HD camera to film. I wouldn't judge the frame rate of this video with the actual game. I am at the mercy of the quality of the cheap camera, not the quality of the actual gameplay. Rating? There are still a bunch of changes needed to be a great SOCOM. I noticed today the aiming-to-strafing ratio is a bit off. As a result, the right stick aiming comes across as a little "twitchy" in retrospect to the strafing speeds. 4 right now, 2 w/ changes.

@SOCOMDITCH But seriously, why comparing it to CoD? Lot's of games have XP (Experience Points) used for ranking systems.
So if a game has XP you don't immediatly compare it to Call of Duty, it's like saying Call of Duty did it first or something.
In realism SOCOM would win by FAR. It's a tactical shooter and I played the SOCOM series with pleasure! =)
