Moorish idols are known for their sensitivity hence short life span even at the best aqaurium environments of the World.
Thinking about adding a large sail-fin I saw at the local fish store too. Who does water changes weekly? Thats absurd. These guys seem healthy, several of them even have some cool tiny white spots too.
@pwrwagn ur supposed to do a water change weekly, especially if u feed 6 times a day, tangs need at least 4 feet of horizontal swimming room! how many do you have?
ic? Never heard of ic? My fish are all doing great. They don't always swim right and they all have really cool tiny white specs all over them now. Is this coral growing on them? Or maybe they are laying eggs? Ive tried feeding them worms from my garden but they don't care much for them. Not sure what they are eating.
uao!!! this fish is famous becouse is very dificult maintence it in captivity. Their captive survival rate is very low most do not survive for a full year. how do you do it?

looks totally cool - I have a nice 15 gallon reef tank but I only keep tangs and a few corals.

these are good in a big tank! judging by the thin design of these fish they probably like hiding in reeds like Gouramis do.

i have a moorish idol in my 300 gal tank there very nice but when i started its hard to get them to eat but them doing well still needs to settle in.
