I agree with you, arfurlife. As a classical guitarist myself, I have always admired artists who can perform this song with beauty and passion. Kaori has come a very long way, and does so much more than just pull off this song with technical accuracy. Her tempo is perfect...I hate when people try to impress by playing this piece too fast; it kills it every time. She "sounds" like she loves to play "Recuerdos". Marry me, Kaori!
for such a strong clear tremolo id like to hear her play it a bit faster, at least i know the pros play this at the tempo i play it at...on a good day
i am afraid i will have to disagree with you, sven... she plays it with wonderful feeling, i would not change one bit, never mind what the pros do ;) this melody is about nostalgia and she conveys it perfectly
Sven i'm so sad. I checked your page and unfortunately youve posted no videos of you playing at this magical tempo you talk about. Oh well, we shall have to take your word for it. I hope Kaori Muraji is lucky enough to stumble on your comment. I'm sure your advice will do wonders for her career. cock!
what i meant was i can only play this song slow, and on a good day it sounds not terrible(which is why ive yet to post my own version!) i also meant that its nice to see that a professional player chooses to play this at a moderate tempo which makes me feel a bit better about myself!!a lot of the stuff classical guitarists play seems well out my reach so its good to see something achievable by a mere mortal! but thanks for the sarcasm and swear word! vagina!
I agree; I think it sounds better played faster as the tremolo notes sound more like a continuous tone as opposed to groups of three 16th notes... But nevertheless it's very well executed; I'm sure you would agree.
It's not tempo which effects the quality of tremolo.
Good tremolo can be performed at pretty much any tempo.
The reason why hers sound like groups of three, is because she needs to practice it more.
I am aware that sounds pretty condescending and believe me when i say that I am of the opinion that she may well be the greatest living guitarist in the world today.
BUT>>
tremolo shouldn't sound like groups of three notes:
The usual inane comments from someone who knows not of what they speak, Who do you think plays the tremolo correctly, or are they all bad in your ears?
she is one of the greatest guitarists actually. Beautiful woman, great musical sense. Una de las mas grandes guitarristas de hoy, bella mujer, gran sentido musical. Saludos de Lima, Peru, South America
Some say she plays it too slow, too metronomic, without intimacy or passion. I say she plays it beautifully. In her own unique way. My favourite version along with Yepes..(who really does play it fast !) Two contrasting styles...two total, absolute masters. They make life worth living they truly do! magnificent!
perfect, beautiful, graceful.

I think that Kaori is one of the greatest living guitarists. She plays this piece with balance and dignity. Sounds perfect to me.

une merveille, sans doute la plus belle interprétation de cet immense classique
par un couple d'exception, Kaori Muraji et sa fabuleuse guitare J.Romanillo.
MERCI

Superb Technique: Deliberated Execution Kaori
has mastered the tremolo exercise by Tarrega,
in time she will mature naturally into the expression of this beautiful music - Played
slow or fast - it doesnt matter.
Beautifully Perfedtly Played.....

Bullshit ,you can look as if you got a lot of feeling but if your playing doesnt sound good it is still a crap.

Bullshit klasikindo, you can write as if you feel any faintest nuance and delicacy but if your sensitivity doesnt sense good, it is still a crap.

tremolo shouldn't sound like groups of three notes:
pluck pluck pluck - pluck pluck pluck - etc
It should sound continuous.
