I'm wearing an ALF. When Dr. Nordstrom talks about tongue position I can definately relate.
I had extraction / retraction orthodontics as a teenager and I could never find a confortable rest position for my tongue. As my maxilla expands I'm finding that place and its having a calming effect on the severe pain I was getting in my cheek.
Normal doctors have no IDEA about this stuff. As a patient |I had to do most of the leg work myself
