First of all. You're using "Let's assume", assuming does not work unless you provide evidence. Population does not double by having 2 children. It would keep it at the exact population. Having 0-1 children will depopulate the world, having more than 2, will overpopulate the world.

If the people have the power, not politicians or any monarch, then the people will decide the most intelligent way you can imagine! People are not stupid! You cannot call people stupid! People know exactly what is right and what is wrong!

@malsifood It's not a contradiction to say "I'm sometimes nice, and I'm sometimes mean". No, really, people are stupid. And worse yet, they are uneducated. Decisions should not be made from opinions, they should be made from facts. And 99% of all people do not have the facts about whatever question is at hand. But everyone has an opinion. At least a monarch is usually educated in state affairs and such, so they tend to make better judgements.

@malsifood I hope oy uunderstand that I cannot give you an example of a commercial company that did not choose to develop a cure, intentionally, because they knew that developing a drug that slows down the progression of a desease is worth more money. And it's a fact that drug companies use patents to monopolize drugs so they can sell them at upwards 1000% the price of what they should need to.

You don't understand math! 100% is the maximum, everything, all! 1000% does not exist!

Companies only do what is profitable! Is that wrong? No, it is essential!

If something is not worth producing nobody will do it!

That is why humans on earth created political systems that legislated rules and education in order to care for all citizens in a country!

Blame the politicians not the capitalists! Or if you want to do even better, organize in direct democratic systems!

@malsifood You're telling me I don't know math? I'm a computer programmer, I know some math. And 1000% most certainly do exist. It's 10 times a whole. If something normally costs $10, but you sell it for $100, you're selling it at 1000% of the normal price.

I do blame the politicians! They are the ones responsible for capitalism.

If you sell it for $1000 then $1000 makes 100% or you can say: the cost is 10 times higher as my original price!

You have a problem with capitalism!

If you look at it closely without any socialist viewpiont, you will see that only capitalism can provide you with the things you need at a price you can pay! Any socialsitic system has failed and has only created hardship and poverty!

If only capitalism can provide me with the things I need at a price I can pay, then why can't everyone in the US buy what they need? And howcome I can, living sweden, which is less capitalistic than USA (used to be kind of socialistic, but not really anymore)?

At the beginning of mankind, we didn't have capitalism, and we did better, economically. We shared stuff instead.

"Best economist" is not very flattering.

The US is crazy about globalization: You can get everything cheaper, produced in china, and if you do not protect the own workers, then you must accept that the workers in the US work at the same conditions like the workers in china. But that is not a fair market! That is cheating at it's best! Sweden is also confronted with the same injustice. Capitalism works only if the conditions are equal in a market. Therefore politicians must take care of a conditions of fair market!
