@malsifood now explain me how the market can be fair if the market is all about profit? There cant be balance when everybody trying to be at the top. When everybody trying to make less for more... This is not balance... This is greed! How the hell you want it to be fair when 1% of the people in the wold own 40% of the wealth? You will come and tell them well share it with everybody to be fair? Todays economy need to be changed cause it's obviously falling and you can see it all over the world!
1. The market has to follow rules that are made by the people!
If the people have nothing to says and delegate all topics to politicians, then these politicians will do any kind of wicked things to make profit out of the situation!
Therefore politicians have to be kept without any power! Why ? Because every human will be spoiled if he can accumulate a huge amount of wealth.
2. That is why real democracy works and most democracies do not work, because the politicians do not have to stand with all their wealth to the things they decide!
Make them being responsible for all their actions with all their wealth and you will see what happens!
If we were 100 Mio. on earth, everyone could waste whatever and how much we wanted!!
But if the world's population is 8 Bi. then many will think that waste is a problem. But it is not, it is the number of people that has to be fed! I we are 16Bi. ...
If we cannot inforce population control, then don't come up telling me "you must stop wasting"! I am not going to spend any money to save the poor starving Somalis, if family control is unknown, then they all deserve to starve to dearth!
You are a fucking moron. Stop replying. You don't even have a reasonable command of the English language, let alone these matters of which take a great deal of thought, which you are demonstrably incapable of producing.

I don't care about your stupid sugestion! Wasting is not the problem!!
You don't need any scientist to tell what is going wrong with this world! And you cannot resolve the problems we face in the future with science!
The claim of the agriculture industry, that we can solve the problem of feeding all humans in the future by genetic altered plants is absolutly absurd!
You cannot feed 10 times more humans on this planet!
You don't need futuristically desinged housing to survive!
You need a clear mind and reasoning! Ideologies lead to nothing!
You've failed to prove yourself a worthy person to debate. Take a step back, stop watching the "news", get a grip, gain perspective, think for yourself and then MAYBE you might be a LITTLE less confused.
For now, you're just simply naive, ignorant and disgustingly confused.
So yes, you need knowledge to tell you what is going wrong with the world.
You apply technology into the system to increase the efficiency of the system to the highest potential. So therefore, both science and technology renders politics outdated.
Nothing is absurd, focus on the goal and not the obstacles.
(Oh by the way, there are no statistics telling us that we can't feed the world.)
First of all. You're using "Let's assume", assuming does not work unless you provide evidence. Population does not double by having 2 children. It would keep it at the exact population. Having 0-1 children will depopulate the world, having more than 2, will overpopulate the world.
Also, at this current time, we can feed everyone around the world. There are no statistics saying otherwise.
Also the Venus Project questions the carrying capacity of the planet.
Oh, did you forget, you can make housing using alternative simpler construction methods, as well as alternative use of materials?
I also forgot to mention that plants can purify water as well. So we can use natural ways of maintaining the planet.
You're quite misinformed about how money gets in the way of progress and technology. Go find me statistics-- actually, don't even bother. Evidence is everywhere, superstores waste tonnes of food. That tonnes of food can feed the world.
I hope Jacques lives to see the end of the monetary system and spawn of a RBE. His wisdom will be fully acknowledged when this system of wasting and inefficiency fails sooner or later.
Too many people subjectively criticize this man and his ideas. Objectivity is a rare quality in the modern mind, despite our advancements. Too little people question his ideas for social design, resource management, education etc. not that they're bad in any way, it's just part of critical thought!
@malsifood In order for us to be alive, we have to be connected to engine of life but the way human being is living right now is the way of dead man walking with no pulse. Jacque has challenged humanity to move forward and find a meaning for being alive. There will be a day that even Muslims question their religion and start the Arab spring. There will be a day that people occupy against wall-street. oh wait the day is coming!! It's up to us to change or die! it's just that simple.
@malsifood Sure but eventually science will work and change the direction. We might never see the change in our life time and the world is not going any better. But that's a good sign. In order for humanity to get better they have to die in a large number and search for the truth "why is this happening" If they don't have a courage to ask, they don't deserve to live. But again we will never see that day. We better take care of what we have now and pass it on as best as we can!
So the discussion is going on for a long time? HAHAHA There are 80Mio People more on this planet needing at least 8000km2 of more land every year (cutting down rainforests, the last land resources!) and all these 80Mio. are 60Mio muslims and 40Mio other members of other stupid creeds! Religion does not vanish, it is increasing!!
Seas fished empty, oil reserves allmost done, peak oil past for 6 years now! and you are talking about unlimited recources!!!!
@malsifood "Humans are the way humans are"? What kind of statement is that? I know amazing human beings and there are millions more around the world. But these people are not interested in leading positions (in the current society).
And that's the problem! We are ruled by frustrated humans, with false values and they are unable to relate to any kind of noble goal. They are mentally ill. Google/YouTube for: "Psychopaths & the Pathology of the 1%".
@malsifood eradicating religion wont be the only think that would do it.
i mean look at china north korea and the former ussr. no religion but still a crummy system. Jacque's vison can and will come true. but we need to help him. I mean look at SharingUniverse on facebook. it's an upgraded version of his item library. decentralized and open to anyone. it's a hub that splits into a number of other groups based on country -> province -> and then city.
All Jacque is promoting is a socialist Utopia that already exists for centuries!
Just read literature about it! Have a look at : Thomas Morus Year: 1524
It will fail as any socialist utopia has failed!
Anything that is against human nature will fail, because you cannot change humans! Humans are good and generous if they live in a save environment, if humans live under poverty they get selfish and mean and do not care about well being of others!
@malsifood It's not socialism, and it's not a utpoia. It's simply the scientific method applied everywhere, instead of only to a very few things.
It's not a utopia, but it'll stop hundreds of thousand of children dying every day, and that's worth something, isn't it? But people who oppose the idea of the venus project are much happier seeing all those kids die without trying to do anything substantial about it. Well, some people are willing to do something about it, given the chance.
@malsifood My friend, you're not making any sense.
Oh, and btw, "hundreds of thousands" was an exaggeration, and I apologize for that. it's probably only about 30 000 or so. But who cares, once you reach over 1000 per day, anyways?
However, if you decrease poverty, less kids will be born, so you won't be saving 30 000 kids per day. Fewer will be born, but none of them will die for stupid reasons.
If you don't understand what I'm talking about, you don't know what you're protesting.
88Mio. are born too much every year, (population increase)
So that means 10'000 people every hour, 241'000 each day!
The world does not get better if the population is increased!
Either we get this rate negative or nature will do it, but if nature does it, it will not be in a humane way.
Or do you think the ocean is still full of fish, do you think overfishing only happens on a moon of Jupiter, do you think there are rainforests to clear for another 8 Bi.?
@malsifood Yes, but if we decrease poverty, less children are born. At the moment, lots of kids are born, and lots of them die, causing a lot of pain. If poverty goes away, less kids are born, but they will survive, similar to the rate of the western society.
And we can surely support something like 25 billion people on earth. We're not even close to that yet.
At first a people must recognize first that producing children in abundance is the real cause of poverty and if fammily planning is adopted, poverty will vanish automatically.
And about the 25 Bi inhabitants: That is a sign of total ignorance, if you proclaim that there is no problem if we multiply that much!
How about the ocean? Is there enough fish left for double fishing?
Didn't we already kill just about all rhinos? Didn't we chop down nearly all rainforests?
@malsifood Humans tend to get more kids in poverty, because it increases the chance that one of them survives. (Ye, doesn't make good sense, I know.) But solving that does not solve poverty, because poverty is caused by injustice in most cases.
Yes, I've heard scientists say that 25 billion is the best guess theoretical limit.
I don't know about the Rhinos, but no, we did not chop down most of the rainforest. I don't know why you think so, but I suspect propaganda.
The only place that since more than 50 years implemented 1 child policy!
What happened? Did the chinese vanish from the planet? Did they become poorer? In the contrary, China has witnessed the most rapid development any country has done ever! There are still a lot of poor people in china but that will change rapidly!
So first comes reason and rules then poverty vanishes without any utopian idiocy
Take just one statement out of the video:" There will be no money! No money is needed because you will be provided with all you need"
1.What's wrong about money?
2. So there will some dictator that knows what i need?
If you get provided all you need without your effort, then nothing has any value! Everything would be worthless and that is the way everything would be treated!
These utpoias have been invented already 500 years ago!
@malsifood What's wrong with money is that it corrupts people. Everything becomes about money, the companies don't care about people, only about money. That's why money is bad.
No, there will be no dictator, or any leader of any kind. There will be no choices, because science and facts will tell us what needs to be done.
I don't think things would be worthless only because everyone can have it. You mean computers are worthless if everyone has a computer?
@malsifood OK, so you think there can be money without greed? Yes, money is for exchanging good, but everyone wants more money for their goods, so they try to build them with cheaper materials, and try to make sure they break so that people need to buy new goods. That's not good.
About the computers, you're assuming a computer design based on how the world is right now. We can build modular things where we can upgrade them easier, and so on. Less waste, but that's not OK in our world.
@malsifood Just imagine all the medicines that are not produced because they would make the drug companies lose money from actually curing deseases instead of constantly selling people drugs to slow the progression of the desease down. How is that an OK world? People benefit from the death of other people. In a better world, AIDS would've already been cured. But the companies make so much money of drugs that slow down the progression of AIDS.
@malsifood I can't give you examples, because I wasn't refering to any examples. The point is that the money system causes this to happen, or at the very least naturally encourages it to happen. Where's the cure to AIDS? Nowhere, which is my point.
No, I don't "follow" conspiracy teories, though I know that the world is not without conspiracies.
Not sure how the floating cities produce food. Maybe using hydroponics (spelling?). I actually haven't cared about the floating cities.
Just to clarify: Floating cities is part of the venus project!
The problem about such utopias is: they sound nice but looking closer you will find a lot of contradictions!
If the ocean is fished empty, it does not make sense to construct a floating city, because you will not be able to feed the people only by such a construction!
The problems that population explosion creates, cannot be be answered by architecture or utopic systems!
@malsifood Yes, I have eard and seen the floating cities, but I haven't gone into details about how they work.
Once again, I have no idea why you are talknig about utopias. I am talking about the venus project, here, not a utopia.
A utopia is something that is perfect. The venus project is not perfect. TVP will also have it's problems, I'm quite sure. But nowhere near the kind of genocidal problems we have at the moment, and it's a good base to build on because it's "real".
@malsifood As for the question of benefitting fromt he death of others, I'm refering to the war industry, and it's a big industry. And then you have the companies who get contracted to re-build the cities that are bombed to pieces. It's kind of a weird conflict of interest for a construction company to want building to be destroyed so they can make more money.
1. Weapons are produced since the beginning of human existence!
Producing weapons in not illegal nor is it unethical!
The largest conflicts on this planet, that cannot be resolved, are there because of stupid people that read 2000 year old scripts and want to oblige everybody to live the way it is required in these bronze age holy scripts!!
@malsifood Of course weapons have always been built. Is it illigal? Well, sometimes it is. Try building a nuke in your back yard. Is it unethical to make money off machines designed to kill, and which you know often kills innocent people? Yepp, it is. It makes you a parasite, someone who feeds off the life of others.
2. Remember: capitalisis always try to make the best of all business, so if a government enables them to rebuilt what the same government destroyes then it is not the companies that are wrong, it is the political system that allows such action!
Again if you don't agree, how the world works, then change your system to a basic democratic system where the polititions always have to ask the people what to do next!
@malsifood I agree that it is the political system that is wrong, not the companies. But the companies are a result of the political system.
No, I do not believe in democrazy. It's a horrible system of innefficiency and bad choices because everyone gets a say about everything, even if they have no idea what they're talking about. Try using that system everywhere and you'll end up with a bunch of things that do not work.
@malsifood There is one that I know of. It's called a resource-based economy, which includes a system where decisions are not made based on opinion, but things are done because that's what the science says will solve the problem.
@malsifood Well, in RBE there won't be any "leaders" who tell you what to do. Everything that needs to be done is done automatically using artificial intelligence and machines and networking. If you're out of spoons, then spoons will be automatically produced by machines and sent to your city. No one will "make that decision", because it's not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of fact. So no one will be in control, because there is no need for it.
@malsifood But the machines won't tell you what to do! This is what you just don't understand. The machines will automatically make sure everyone has everything they need, and that's pretty much it! Think of it like air conditioning. It just runs in the background, constantly, but you don't even notice it. Well, if you think about it, it is more likely that you've met someone unbelievably stupid, or is it more likely that you're misunderstanding me and/or the concept?
@malsifood I'm not sure what you mean by "humans are not machines". We're biological machines, as far as I know. We're machines, but a lot more complex than most other machines.
Human will never accept it? We used to live in groups of about 150 people, all sharing and helping each other, without money. We worked only about 2-4 hours per day. Why couldn't we go back to a similar system, except with better technology? That's our "nature", if anything. That's where we came from.
Because humans are stupid and multiply like rabbits!
If you reduce human population by 80%, then you wouldn't have to worry about energy nor food supply nor any problems we face at the moment!!
If there were 20% of humans on this planet like 200 years ago, you wouldn't need utopias like the venus project nor any other primitive ideas about machines telling humans what to do!
@malsifood If we use, for example, geothermal power, we have more than enough power for... I've heard 4000 years.
And there is no lack of food, if we stop burning it to keep the prices on food high. It's called manufactured scarcity.
I think I've said this before, but I'll repeat it: I heard some scientist estimate that we can probably have about 25 billion people on earth. We're nowhere near that.
Geo thermal power does not help you because in the next future europe will be flooded with muslim emigrants, because they multiply like rabbits! 20Mio entered the last 20 years, the next 20 years 40 Mio will come, and then 80Mio....in the end you will not discuss the future but some stupid religous matters!
You are incredibly naive believing that food prices are kept high artificially!
Of course the earth can support 25 BI but then all wildlife has gone!
@malsifood You obvisouly have no idea, or you're just trolling. I'm starting to think you're just trolling. Of course food prices are kept high articficially. They do the same thing to diamonds. They burn diamonds aswell. Same idea as when artists hire people to make high bids on their paintings to make the paintings seem worth more. Ask yourself: Wouldn't you do the same to earn money, if you had the ability? It's right there, in the system.
@malsifood Of course I believe in conspiracies. There are conspiracies everywhere, it only means that 2 or more people plan something together. I can start a conspiracy today, if I want to. All I need is a friend. If you think there are no conspiracies in the world, you're brutally naïve. They even have laws to prevent things like cartels, which are a form of conspiracy.
2 of my closest friends studied these things at university. That's my source.
Anyway, it does not matter if somebody speculates and takes advantage of stupid behaviour of others!
Kartels are prohibited, because wealth corrupts people and you must realize that everybody is vulnerable to corruption, that is why monarchy is wrong just like dictatorship is wrong, and democracy, in which people are involved cloesely in desicion making, is the only possibility way of a future without wars and withpourt corruption!
@malsifood That's exactly, precicely what I've been tring to say: Wealth corrupts people. That's one of the reason RBE is correct.
Well, democrazy can obviously be mistreated aswell, if you look at america. They are losing their freedoms and rights, even though it's a democrazy. In a democrazy, you can still buy people off, and be corrupt. That's why it's not good. And it's the majority's dictatorship over the minority.
You said: money corrupts. Money is only a exchange good!
The US is not a good example of democracy, because once a president is elected and in power, he can do whatever including starting some war.
People must be more integrated in desicion making otherwise you will always have these corrupt burocrats that decide. The more people being involved in desicion making the more difficult it is to buy them off, because there is simply not enough money to bribe everybody.
A monarchy is the best system if the monarch is a reasonable person, but history tells that once in a while there was a monarch that was absolutely inacceptable, causing bloodshed out of nothing!
@malsifood Monarchy is a very efficient system. If something needs to be done, it gets done without having to discuss it for a few years first. It's a lot more efficient than democrazy, though of course I agree that it has its downside. But all-in-all, it has better potential than democrazy, the way I see it. But it's notthing I'm willing to discuss.
Yes of course monarchy is very efficient, until some stupid young monarch comes along!
A monarch will always own 99% of the wealth of the world, and because the son of the monarch will grow up without having an idea of the real world, he will be spoiled and will do any stiupid kind of atrocities!
Wake up and start to think before you say something stupid!!
@malsifood You can argue that it is the fault of the system, monarchy, or you can argue that it is the fault of people. I'm arguing that monarchy is a good system, but I agree that it can turn ugly. But most kings realize that if they fuck their contry up, they don't have much to rule over anymore. If you're the president of a company, you still want the company to be a good workplace, and so on. You won't fuck something up just because you can.
You claim that monarchy is the best system although it can turn ugly?
If the people have the power, not politicians or any monarch, then the people will decide the most intelligent way you can imagine! People are not stupid! You cannot call people stupid! People know exactly what is right and what is wrong!
@malsifood It's not a contradiction to say "I'm sometimes nice, and I'm sometimes mean". No, really, people are stupid. And worse yet, they are uneducated. Decisions should not be made from opinions, they should be made from facts. And 99% of all people do not have the facts about whatever question is at hand. But everyone has an opinion. At least a monarch is usually educated in state affairs and such, so they tend to make better judgements.
@malsifood I hope oy uunderstand that I cannot give you an example of a commercial company that did not choose to develop a cure, intentionally, because they knew that developing a drug that slows down the progression of a desease is worth more money. And it's a fact that drug companies use patents to monopolize drugs so they can sell them at upwards 1000% the price of what they should need to.
@malsifood You're telling me I don't know math? I'm a computer programmer, I know some math. And 1000% most certainly do exist. It's 10 times a whole. If something normally costs $10, but you sell it for $100, you're selling it at 1000% of the normal price.
I do blame the politicians! They are the ones responsible for capitalism.
If you sell it for $1000 then $1000 makes 100% or you can say: the cost is 10 times higher as my original price!
You have a problem with capitalism!
If you look at it closely without any socialist viewpiont, you will see that only capitalism can provide you with the things you need at a price you can pay! Any socialsitic system has failed and has only created hardship and poverty!
Read: "the theory of money" by Ludwig van Mises anno 1910! The best economist ever!
@malsifood I'm not going to discuss math with you.
If only capitalism can provide me with the things I need at a price I can pay, then why can't everyone in the US buy what they need? And howcome I can, living sweden, which is less capitalistic than USA (used to be kind of socialistic, but not really anymore)?
At the beginning of mankind, we didn't have capitalism, and we did better, economically. We shared stuff instead.
The US is crazy about globalization: You can get everything cheaper, produced in china, and if you do not protect the own workers, then you must accept that the workers in the US work at the same conditions like the workers in china. But that is not a fair market! That is cheating at it's best! Sweden is also confronted with the same injustice. Capitalism works only if the conditions are equal in a market. Therefore politicians must take care of a conditions of fair market!
@malsifood But I agree! I agree that we're wasting resources! And to burn precious oil by flying airplanes is stupid, when we could use the oil for good things such as CFRP or whatever. Anyways, I Don't understand your hostility when I obviously agree with you.
About species we make extinct, did you know that a huge number of species go extinc every day without us having anything to do with it? Even if we weren't here, they would go extinct. Just saying.
Or the zeitgeist movement. Don't forget about Peter Joseph, who after all is the person, who did what Jacque couldn't do. He introduced TVP to the world in ways Jacque had never dreamed of and said brave things about the root cause of all of the problems we face.
Jacque is right, every problem is a technical and can be conquered. Yet, there are religious groups using politics and money to enslave people with theocracy. This is the cause of our woes and TVP only confirms this.
Jacque there are enough like minded groups out there now---These groups must be united by face to face contact and work out whatever issues that keep these groups from uniteing---you have the connections and resources to make this happen----Would you talk to the leaders of these other groups---I consider building new mortgage free cities as a peaceful way to transition---and make the current system obsolete---Thank you for you have done---May everyday bring you joy---
@malsifood now explain me how the market can be fair if the market is all about profit? There cant be balance when everybody trying to be at the top. When everybody trying to make less for more... This is not balance... This is greed! How the hell you want it to be fair when 1% of the people in the wold own 40% of the wealth? You will come and tell them well share it with everybody to be fair? Yes, it would make a difference. A big difference. You haven't come up with ONE argument to the contrary.
I never said Obama was the solution. The two party system is more of a one party system. In fact, it's more of a theology.
The solution, as always, is science, more science and power to scientists.
Science is the only solution to any problem we face. Only uneducated fools think otherwise.
It just so happens that science tells us that we waste relentlessly. That's the problem

1. Let's assume that the world has 8Bi People.
Look at what has happened: Ocean fished almost empty, Rainforests chopped down up to 90%.
50% of all humans live in poverty!
Let's assume that tomorrow the productivity doubles, so then all people of today can live without starving.
Let's assume that the world's population doubles the next 40 Years (Highly probable)
Let's also assume everybody gets vegetarian. Result everybody can be fed!

Where do you get the ocean to fish double amount of fish?
Let's assume that the worlds population doubles again the following 40 years?
Will you be able to feed all of them by adding plantations on the moon?
How come your fantastic technology does not feed all humans today?

First of all. You're using "Let's assume", assuming does not work unless you provide evidence. Population does not double by having 2 children. It would keep it at the exact population. Having 0-1 children will depopulate the world, having more than 2, will overpopulate the world.
Also, at this current time, we can feed everyone around the world. There are no statistics saying otherwise.
Also the Venus Project questions the carrying capacity of the planet.
H4134 1 day ago
@malsifood
Also, do some research, it turns out that you don't need land to grow food. You can have buildings going up vertically and making massive farm lands.
You can grow meat as well.
You don't need land to grow food either, you can use hydroponic farming.
In the near future, there's a high chance that you can fabricate food through using machines as well.
We can create an abundance by using science and technology.
H4134 1 day ago
@malsifood

Too many people subjectively criticize this man and his ideas. Objectivity is a rare quality in the modern mind, despite our advancements. Too little people question his ideas for social design, resource management, education etc. not that they're bad in any way, it's just part of critical thought!

If you want to acheive that brave new world, then you will have to eradicate religion first! That will be dificult.
Humans are the way humans are, they will not change, and you do not have recources for all of them. That is a naïve illution!

Have you seen yesterday the church bombings in Nigeria?
Does the world get any better??
Go on dreaming! But don't tell me nobody had warned you!
malsifood 2 months ago
@malsifood Sure but eventually science will work and change the direction. We might never see the change in our life time and the world is not going any better. But that's a good sign. In order for humanity to get better they have to die in a large number and search for the truth "why is this happening" If they don't have a courage to ask, they don't deserve to live. But again we will never see that day. We better take care of what we have now and pass it on as best as we can!

Humans are the way society makes them.

i mean look at china north korea and the former ussr. no religion but still a crummy system. Jacque's vison can and will come true. but we need to help him. I mean look at SharingUniverse on facebook. it's an upgraded version of his item library. decentralized and open to anyone. it's a hub that splits into a number of other groups based on country -> province -> and then city.
alvisc2002 2 months ago
@alvisc2002
All Jacque is promoting is a socialist Utopia that already exists for centuries!
Just read literature about it! Have a look at : Thomas Morus Year: 1524
It will fail as any socialist utopia has failed!
Anything that is against human nature will fail, because you cannot change humans! Humans are good and generous if they live in a save environment, if humans live under poverty they get selfish and mean and do not care about well being of others!
malsifood 2 months ago
@malsifood It's not socialism, and it's not a utpoia. It's simply the scientific method applied everywhere, instead of only to a very few things.
It's not a utopia, but it'll stop hundreds of thousand of children dying every day, and that's worth something, isn't it? But people who oppose the idea of the venus project are much happier seeing all those kids die without trying to do anything substantial about it. Well, some people are willing to do something about it, given the chance.
antiHUMANDesigns 1 month ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
HAHAHA!!
You want to have discovered a method of preventing hundreds of thousand of children dying every day????
HAHAHA!!! Tell me something else!!
If hundreds of thousand of children are born in vain each day, hundreds of thousand of children must be dying every day!
If you don't prevent them from being born, then nature will make them die!
If you help them survive you only postpone the problem, after a while twice as much will die every day!
malsifood 1 month ago
@malsifood My friend, you're not making any sense.
Oh, and btw, "hundreds of thousands" was an exaggeration, and I apologize for that. it's probably only about 30 000 or so. But who cares, once you reach over 1000 per day, anyways?
However, if you decrease poverty, less kids will be born, so you won't be saving 30 000 kids per day. Fewer will be born, but none of them will die for stupid reasons.
If you don't understand what I'm talking about, you don't know what you're protesting.
antiHUMANDesigns 1 month ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
88Mio. are born too much every year, (population increase)
So that means 10'000 people every hour, 241'000 each day!
The world does not get better if the population is increased!
Either we get this rate negative or nature will do it, but if nature does it, it will not be in a humane way.
Or do you think the ocean is still full of fish, do you think overfishing only happens on a moon of Jupiter, do you think there are rainforests to clear for another 8 Bi.?
malsifood 1 month ago
@malsifood Yes, but if we decrease poverty, less children are born. At the moment, lots of kids are born, and lots of them die, causing a lot of pain. If poverty goes away, less kids are born, but they will survive, similar to the rate of the western society.
And we can surely support something like 25 billion people on earth. We're not even close to that yet.
antiHUMANDesigns 1 month ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
Didn't we chop down nearly all rainforests?
malsifood 1 month ago
@malsifood Humans tend to get more kids in poverty, because it increases the chance that one of them survives. (Ye, doesn't make good sense, I know.) But solving that does not solve poverty, because poverty is caused by injustice in most cases.
Yes, I've heard scientists say that 25 billion is the best guess theoretical limit.
I don't know about the Rhinos, but no, we did not chop down most of the rainforest. I don't know why you think so, but I suspect propaganda.

What happened? Did the chinese vanish from the planet? Did they become poorer? In the contrary, China has witnessed the most rapid development any country has done ever! There are still a lot of poor people in china but that will change rapidly!
So first comes reason and rules then poverty vanishes without any utopian idiocy
malsifood 4 weeks ago
@malsifood Where does utopian comeinto this? Who's talking about utopias?
antiHUMANDesigns 4 weeks ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
Why the venus project is a utopia?
Take just one statement out of the video:" There will be no money! No money is needed because you will be provided with all you need"
1.What's wrong about money?
2. So there will some dictator that knows what i need?
If you get provided all you need without your effort, then nothing has any value! Everything would be worthless and that is the way everything would be treated!
These utpoias have been invented already 500 years ago!
malsifood 3 weeks ago
@malsifood What's wrong with money is that it corrupts people. Everything becomes about money, the companies don't care about people, only about money. That's why money is bad.
No, there will be no dictator, or any leader of any kind. There will be no choices, because science and facts will tell us what needs to be done.
I don't think things would be worthless only because everyone can have it. You mean computers are worthless if everyone has a computer?
And stop calling it a utopia
antiHUMANDesigns 3 weeks ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
You are completely mistaken!
Money is only a way of exchanging goods!
Money itself has no value! What corrupts people is greed!
Money and capitalistic organization is the only way everybody can know the value of any goods.
In the former UDSSR, children used to play football with old bread, because bred was there in abundance and balls to play were not available!
If food has no value everybody would waste it!
If you can have a faster computer every day, that means waste!
malsifood 3 weeks ago
@malsifood OK, so you think there can be money without greed? Yes, money is for exchanging good, but everyone wants more money for their goods, so they try to build them with cheaper materials, and try to make sure they break so that people need to buy new goods. That's not good.
About the computers, you're assuming a computer design based on how the world is right now. We can build modular things where we can upgrade them easier, and so on. Less waste, but that's not OK in our world.
antiHUMANDesigns 3 weeks ago
@malsifood Just imagine all the medicines that are not produced because they would make the drug companies lose money from actually curing deseases instead of constantly selling people drugs to slow the progression of the desease down. How is that an OK world? People benefit from the death of other people. In a better world, AIDS would've already been cured. But the companies make so much money of drugs that slow down the progression of AIDS.
antiHUMANDesigns 3 weeks ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
Just stay with facts!
Give me some references: Whaht is the name of the company that does not provide what kind of medicine, where, not to cure what deseases?
Where are people benefiting from the death of other people?
Where is the cure for AIDS?
Do you follow some conspiracy theory without knowing facts?
Provide me with evidence that proof your claims!
BTW Venus project: If people are going to live on artificial islands in the ocean, where do they get their food from?
malsifood 3 weeks ago
@malsifood I can't give you examples, because I wasn't refering to any examples. The point is that the money system causes this to happen, or at the very least naturally encourages it to happen. Where's the cure to AIDS? Nowhere, which is my point.
No, I don't "follow" conspiracy teories, though I know that the world is not without conspiracies.
Not sure how the floating cities produce food. Maybe using hydroponics (spelling?). I actually haven't cared about the floating cities.
antiHUMANDesigns 3 weeks ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
Just to clarify: Floating cities is part of the venus project!
The problem about such utopias is: they sound nice but looking closer you will find a lot of contradictions!
If the ocean is fished empty, it does not make sense to construct a floating city, because you will not be able to feed the people only by such a construction!
The problems that population explosion creates, cannot be be answered by architecture or utopic systems!
malsifood 3 weeks ago
@malsifood Yes, I have eard and seen the floating cities, but I haven't gone into details about how they work.
Once again, I have no idea why you are talknig about utopias. I am talking about the venus project, here, not a utopia.
A utopia is something that is perfect. The venus project is not perfect. TVP will also have it's problems, I'm quite sure. But nowhere near the kind of genocidal problems we have at the moment, and it's a good base to build on because it's "real".
antiHUMANDesigns 3 weeks ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
you cannot solve any probelm of the existing world with such an utopia!
malsifood 3 weeks ago
@malsifood Which utopia?! 8|
antiHUMANDesigns 3 weeks ago
@malsifood As for the question of benefitting fromt he death of others, I'm refering to the war industry, and it's a big industry. And then you have the companies who get contracted to re-build the cities that are bombed to pieces. It's kind of a weird conflict of interest for a construction company to want building to be destroyed so they can make more money.
antiHUMANDesigns 3 weeks ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
1. Weapons are produced since the beginning of human existence!
Producing weapons in not illegal nor is it unethical!
The largest conflicts on this planet, that cannot be resolved, are there because of stupid people that read 2000 year old scripts and want to oblige everybody to live the way it is required in these bronze age holy scripts!!
to be continued:
malsifood 3 weeks ago
@malsifood Of course weapons have always been built. Is it illigal? Well, sometimes it is. Try building a nuke in your back yard. Is it unethical to make money off machines designed to kill, and which you know often kills innocent people? Yepp, it is. It makes you a parasite, someone who feeds off the life of others.
antiHUMANDesigns 3 weeks ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
2. Remember: capitalisis always try to make the best of all business, so if a government enables them to rebuilt what the same government destroyes then it is not the companies that are wrong, it is the political system that allows such action!
Again if you don't agree, how the world works, then change your system to a basic democratic system where the polititions always have to ask the people what to do next!
malsifood 3 weeks ago
@malsifood I agree that it is the political system that is wrong, not the companies. But the companies are a result of the political system.
No, I do not believe in democrazy. It's a horrible system of innefficiency and bad choices because everyone gets a say about everything, even if they have no idea what they're talking about. Try using that system everywhere and you'll end up with a bunch of things that do not work.
antiHUMANDesigns 3 weeks ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
If you don't believe in democracy then give me an example of a better system!
There is none!
malsifood 3 weeks ago
@malsifood There is one that I know of. It's called a resource-based economy, which includes a system where decisions are not made based on opinion, but things are done because that's what the science says will solve the problem.
antiHUMANDesigns 3 weeks ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
A system where technocrats tell you what to do is just about as bad as a socialist system of the former UDSSR and the whole east block.
malsifood 2 weeks ago
@malsifood Well, in RBE there won't be any "leaders" who tell you what to do. Everything that needs to be done is done automatically using artificial intelligence and machines and networking. If you're out of spoons, then spoons will be automatically produced by machines and sent to your city. No one will "make that decision", because it's not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of fact. So no one will be in control, because there is no need for it.
antiHUMANDesigns 2 weeks ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
Go on dreaming!
This idea is the most stuid thing ever written after the quran! Do you think anyone will accept some machines to tell you what to do??
If you get everything for free, then all things will not have any value, and dissipation will be the norm! Your and Jaques ideas are just stupid!
Can you still add one and one?
Just think about the stupidity you told me!
malsifood 2 weeks ago
@malsifood But the machines won't tell you what to do! This is what you just don't understand. The machines will automatically make sure everyone has everything they need, and that's pretty much it! Think of it like air conditioning. It just runs in the background, constantly, but you don't even notice it. Well, if you think about it, it is more likely that you've met someone unbelievably stupid, or is it more likely that you're misunderstanding me and/or the concept?
antiHUMANDesigns 2 weeks ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
Humans are not machines!
Humans wil never accept a system like the one that you describe!
Create this for your robots, but never expect anybody to join your idiocy!
malsifood 2 weeks ago
@malsifood I'm not sure what you mean by "humans are not machines". We're biological machines, as far as I know. We're machines, but a lot more complex than most other machines.
Human will never accept it? We used to live in groups of about 150 people, all sharing and helping each other, without money. We worked only about 2-4 hours per day. Why couldn't we go back to a similar system, except with better technology? That's our "nature", if anything. That's where we came from.
antiHUMANDesigns 2 weeks ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
Why we cannot go back to these times?
Because humans are stupid and multiply like rabbits!
If you reduce human population by 80%, then you wouldn't have to worry about energy nor food supply nor any problems we face at the moment!!
If there were 20% of humans on this planet like 200 years ago, you wouldn't need utopias like the venus project nor any other primitive ideas about machines telling humans what to do!
malsifood 2 weeks ago
@malsifood If we use, for example, geothermal power, we have more than enough power for... I've heard 4000 years.
And there is no lack of food, if we stop burning it to keep the prices on food high. It's called manufactured scarcity.
I think I've said this before, but I'll repeat it: I heard some scientist estimate that we can probably have about 25 billion people on earth. We're nowhere near that.

It's right there, in the system.
antiHUMANDesigns 2 weeks ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
You are a conspiracy believer!
Who is keeping the food prices high?
What investor is holding back food so the price get's high??
Some speculators?
Germany equires all diesel oil sold for cars to contain 10% of biological produced oil!
The US has a program to make carburants for cars by plants such as korn, or cain!
What do you think the result of this policy will be?
What is the result of banning iran oil? Higher prices of course, because there is lesser available!
malsifood 1 week ago
@malsifood Of course I believe in conspiracies. There are conspiracies everywhere, it only means that 2 or more people plan something together. I can start a conspiracy today, if I want to. All I need is a friend. If you think there are no conspiracies in the world, you're brutally naïve. They even have laws to prevent things like cartels, which are a form of conspiracy.
2 of my closest friends studied these things at university. That's my source.
antiHUMANDesigns 1 week ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
People must be involved closely!
malsifood 1 week ago
@malsifood That's exactly, precicely what I've been tring to say: Wealth corrupts people. That's one of the reason RBE is correct.
Well, democrazy can obviously be mistreated aswell, if you look at america. They are losing their freedoms and rights, even though it's a democrazy. In a democrazy, you can still buy people off, and be corrupt. That's why it's not good. And it's the majority's dictatorship over the minority.
antiHUMANDesigns 1 week ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
You said: money corrupts. Money is only a exchange good!
The US is not a good example of democracy, because once a president is elected and in power, he can do whatever including starting some war.
People must be more integrated in desicion making otherwise you will always have these corrupt burocrats that decide. The more people being involved in desicion making the more difficult it is to buy them off, because there is simply not enough money to bribe everybody.
malsifood 1 week ago
@malsifood Oh, and monarky is a better system, as far as I can tell.
antiHUMANDesigns 3 weeks ago
@antiHUMANDesi
What can i say about that? Are you completly mad?
A monarchy is the best system if the monarch is a reasonable person, but history tells that once in a while there was a monarch that was absolutely inacceptable, causing bloodshed out of nothing!
malsifood 2 weeks ago
@malsifood Monarchy is a very efficient system. If something needs to be done, it gets done without having to discuss it for a few years first. It's a lot more efficient than democrazy, though of course I agree that it has its downside. But all-in-all, it has better potential than democrazy, the way I see it. But it's notthing I'm willing to discuss.
antiHUMANDesigns 2 weeks ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
Yes of course monarchy is very efficient, until some stupid young monarch comes along!
A monarch will always own 99% of the wealth of the world, and because the son of the monarch will grow up without having an idea of the real world, he will be spoiled and will do any stiupid kind of atrocities!
Wake up and start to think before you say something stupid!!
malsifood 2 weeks ago
@malsifood You can argue that it is the fault of the system, monarchy, or you can argue that it is the fault of people. I'm arguing that monarchy is a good system, but I agree that it can turn ugly. But most kings realize that if they fuck their contry up, they don't have much to rule over anymore. If you're the president of a company, you still want the company to be a good workplace, and so on. You won't fuck something up just because you can.
antiHUMANDesigns 2 weeks ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
You contradict yourself!
You claim that monarchy is the best system although it can turn ugly?
If the people have the power, not politicians or any monarch, then the people will decide the most intelligent way you can imagine! People are not stupid! You cannot call people stupid! People know exactly what is right and what is wrong!
malsifood 2 weeks ago
@malsifood It's not a contradiction to say "I'm sometimes nice, and I'm sometimes mean". No, really, people are stupid. And worse yet, they are uneducated. Decisions should not be made from opinions, they should be made from facts. And 99% of all people do not have the facts about whatever question is at hand. But everyone has an opinion. At least a monarch is usually educated in state affairs and such, so they tend to make better judgements.
antiHUMANDesigns 2 weeks ago
@malsifood I hope oy uunderstand that I cannot give you an example of a commercial company that did not choose to develop a cure, intentionally, because they knew that developing a drug that slows down the progression of a desease is worth more money. You don't understand math! 100% is the maximum, everything, all! 1000% does not exist!
Companies only do what is profitable! Is that wrong? No, it is essential!
If something is not worth producing nobody will do it!
That is why humans on earth created political systems that legislated rules and education in order to care for all citizens in a country!
Blame the politicians not the capitalists! Or if you want to do even better, organize in direct democratic systems!
malsifood 3 weeks ago
@malsifood You're telling me I don't know math? I'm a computer programmer, I know some math. And 1000% most certainly do exist. It's 10 times a whole. If something normally costs $10, but you sell it for $100, you're selling it at 1000% of the normal price.
I do blame the politicians! They are the ones responsible for capitalism.
antiHUMANDesigns 3 weeks ago
@antiHUMANDesigns
The best economist ever!
malsifood 3 weeks ago
@malsifood I'm not going to discuss math with you.
If only capitalism can provide me with the things I need at a price I can pay, then why can't everyone in the US buy what they need? And howcome I can, living sweden, which is less capitalistic than USA (used to be kind of socialistic, but not really anymore)?
At the beginning of mankind, we didn't have capitalism, and we did better, economically. We shared stuff instead.
"Best economist" is not very flattering.

@jacquefresco

@riseingstardust I have a group. I don't care what its called or who came up with it first. It is simply the intelligent way. We must unite.
