@dundidilydodah Hey! since YOU seem to be the gun expert here, you should know that pistols are NOT clip fed weapons. dont comment back, you already look like an asshole
@punkskaTV Actually, in English (as spoken by the English), a pistol is a 'a small firearm designed to be held in one hand.' A pistol can therefore be single shot, a revolver, a mag fed (not 'clip', that it something entirely different) semi-auto, etc.
Oh yes, and an ass is a type of mammal, you probably meant to say 'arse'. Count yourself lucky, I normally charge to teach foreigners English.
@DepakoteMeister hey, ASSHOLE. in spoken english, it is acceptable to say ass. what, are you from europe? name one pistol that is clip fed. one. if you do that, i will shut up. if not, you have made yourself look like a pretentious idiot who cannot even think to do one bit of research before speaking out of turn.
If you spray every 3rd mag down with wd40 lightly you can use any standard .22 ammo...yes the 550 packs with 100% reliability. Its will not jam and will cycle 100% if you do this.
A bullet is a bullet. If shot by one enough times, no matter the caliber, it will hurt. I personally like the .22 because it's low recoil so you have better accuracy
@unodonut the first thing a trainer will tell you is that you want knock-down power behind your round. .22 will pierce through a body and bounce around. yes they cause damage, but you don't have nearly the power/weight in a round that you would want in a personal protection situation. i bet it's pretty fun to plink around with though. i love sig sauer firearms.
was thinking about picking one of these up just for shooting at the range, because of the low cost of ammo, but ive been reading alot of reviews of it jamming is that usualy caused by the ammo or is it a magazine issue?
@fitbmxseries1 its usually ammo issue. everywhere i read they always say use CCI ammo, they work the best. also there are some problems with the feeding ramp. it sort of has a squared off edge that the bullet may catch on and will result in failure to feed. i dont think the mag is the problem.
I bought a ruger mark 3 hunter for the same reason (economy/bangs for buck). My ruger has worked great, only problems with the occasional dud-common with cheap ammo. I recommend the ruger as a sure thing.
I fired mine for the first time yesterday, and i loved it so much that i went back and fired it again today! I love this gun and I can't wait to fire it again!
@klutchtls Any clue how many mafia killings were done with 22lr's? They penetrate the skull then ricochet inside and scramble the brain. Had a friend kill himself with one a couple years ago. Also saw my brother in law kill a 500lb pig on his farm with one shot to the head from a 22lr. And that is also what they use to kill cattle very often. Don't underestimate the 22lr.
they don't rattle the brain that is a myth.My friend is a custom butcher and he use's a 22 mag for putting down cattle and hog.Hog has a thicker skull and the 22 mag is best for that.
yeah im a noob about guns, lol you know what assuming makes you right? i never said a 22 was a toy, so you go and shoot your cattle with your 22 buddy =) im sure youll love it. I allways let my kids play with 22s ! its so cute to see them shooting at other people with them. Cute lil toys indeed.

you toss a rock and I will fire a 22 lr ,They will kill like any other round 22lr is not a toy.I have put down cattle with one shot to the for head using solid nose it will penetrate skulls.
When I read stuff like this it means the person is a noob and don't know shit about guns and ammo.
Agreed, however I would rather have something more powerful for stopping predators of the two-legged species. .22 is lethal but some people aren't initially phased by being hit with a .22
@JDK1981 the 22 sig is for plinking and having fun shooting maybe small game hunting that's it. No one would use it in self defense. I have a xd-40 for that. The ammo for sw 40 is 21.00 for a box of 50 so I don't shoot it that much.I shoot my sig misquito a hole lot more.
@SavageHmr see this is where you lot go wrong, sure the .22 is not designed as a self defence round and it woundnt be my first choice, however it is still very capable of being a defence round if needs be! eg. one round of cci min mag is 140 foot pounds...so times that by 3 ie. 3 rounds = 420 foot pounds of energy which is more then a standard 9mm!!
but since in the usa and all of europe except the uk, you are not limited in caliber with regards to handguns
there is a new revolutionary invention called earplugs, as long as you use them no damage. I shoot my 44 mag and 357 with them, no ringing, just the shock blast throughtout the body. anyone who doesnt use earplugs on the range is dumb, so they deserve to go deaf, it goes hand in hand, deaf and dumb (no offense to real deaf people, meant for dumb enough people who do no appreciate being able to hear, and keep listening to max loud music and shooting w/out ear protection )
@elementx440 Are you referring to that brass washed remington bulk ammo?
Yeah that stuff is total crap. It is incredibly dirty even for .22 LR and Starts to cause malfunctions in my Ruger 10/22 and Ruger MKII after about 200 rounds. And That is when they are completely clean and lubricated properly(not too much, not too little)
Federal Bulk packs are cheaper anyway and much much cleaner! I've got two packs sitting my closet ready to be shot :D
@chapinfeliz but when you use the cci mini mags, you are supposed to use the stiff spring in the gun.. not the weaker spring which means you have to quickly swap the two out when you disassemble it. the gun should have came with an extra recoil spring.

if u use earplugs while using a 22. or even a 9mm. ur basicly a cockchugger. i dont use earplugs even with my SKS. hearing the blast is part of the fun
It is fun but I'll be enjoying hearing half a blast when I'm old and gray and you won't be able to hear any of it in 20 years. I admit that I don't use earplugs when I shoot my 22 though.
So wearing ear protection makes me a pussy? Well I know one thing it doesn't make me deaf. So go ahead and act like your badass for not wearing ear protection. I will have a good laugh when your hearing degrades to nearly nothing.
@vgamedude12 a 22 is less loud than a damn firecracker. if you use "ear protection" when u shoot a 22.. yes you are indeed a pussy. and i been shootin alot bigger guns than 22's for years without those ridiculous looking earmuffs on. and i can hear just fine
@Agent474life when somebody tells me im gonna go deaf becuase i dont use hearing protection while shooting something less loud than a firecracker. yup. im gonna argue
@almanCCC .22's are actually the most dangerous to people's eardrums due to their high pitched blast. It's reassuring to know that there are people out there as ignorant as you.
your wrong again and i know what decibels are. just stop your embarressing yourself. i support hearing protection, use it all the time. but if you are using them for 22s then you have a bigger vagina than pamela anderson
@celldweller321 Hear enough of one sound that makes your ears ring you will soon never hear that frequency again. The ringing is your cells dying and after its done you'll never heard that frequency again, i.e. no more ear ringing.
you should always use hearing protection i mean with a 22 it's not that big of a deal but when you get up to a 45 colt then you need it specially a smith an' wesson 500
It's recommended that you use hearing protection with all firearms. You can "get away with" shooting .22s without hearing protection if the acoustics of your range are forgiving, but it really is a good idea to always plug/cover your ears up with something. Not really much hassle at all, and your hearing isn't something you wanna take your chances with ; )
Not really, but when you go to a public gun range you have to use hearning protection well, at least where I live you have to or you can not shoot. True .22LR are no big deal when it comes to sound but the main reason why gun rages make you weare protection even ifs a .22LR for lawsuite and insurance lssues.
if ur using long rifle rounds in this sig suaer HELLZ yes it is a LOUD gun even tough its only a 22 but for a regular rifle 22 probly not but i would still recomend it
As mentioned here: The mosquito must be kept clean. Also, per my manual, they suggest 1 drop of oil be added to a slide-hole every 250 rounds. After cleaning/oiling mine, I had 1 FTE on round 180 first time out. These were CCI MIni-mags. The manual also says to only use these. I've tested, and they're correct. Problems with other ammo. But, CCI Mini-mags are difficult to get for some reason...
This gun has feed and extraction problems, but they can be fixed for the most part. They need to be clean to fire properly. Since it's not a personal protection carry gun, it doesn't matter if it fails to eject or feed every single time. It's great fun though. It's actually pretty loud for a .22
Im looking into getting one of these anyone else have suggestions wether this is better than a P22 for just pistol training and just have a good old time with?
hey WarnerRo, I love how people who shouldn't have guns like you post trash on people's videos. This gun is actually an excellent gun, if like any gun, it is kept cleaned and lubed. How funny that WarnerRo thinks a .22 isn't a deterrent. That is a bad message to send to people looking to own a gun because a .22 can cause injury just like any other small arm.
Lots to choose from. I carry a S&W .38 snubby but also have a Bersa .380 which I am really getting to like alot. Both are easy to conceal. There are many 9mms that are great, the Walther PPS, Bersa 9mm Ultracompact, Sig P229, Taurus PT111. There are many more.
Do you always release your slide like that? Not trying to be an YouTube smartass, but you may find that level will last longer and the gun may feed better if you just slingshot it.
Ron Swanson sent me here.

@almanCCC your seriously going to fight over the internet with people about ear protection? you should feel ashamed really
Agent474life 2 years ago
@Agent474life when somebody tells me im gonna go deaf becuase i dont use hearing protection while shooting something less loud than a firecracker. yup. im gonna argue
almanCCC 2 years ago
@almanCCC just ignore them and do what you feel is right
Agent474life 2 years ago
@almanCCC .22's are actually the most dangerous to people's eardrums due to their high pitched blast. It's reassuring to know that there are people out there as ignorant as you.
m8trix228 2 years ago
@m8trix228 not true...
analmunkey 2 years ago
umm yeah it is. it has more decibels meaning that it will do more damage to your hearing.
m8trix228 2 years ago
your wrong again and i know what decibels are. just stop your embarressing yourself. i support hearing protection, use it all the time. but if you are using them for 22s then you have a bigger vagina than pamela anderson
analmunkey 2 years ago
and hearing damage is accumulative and .22 pistols make your ears ring and your going fucking deaf already if you tell me it doesnt
celldweller321 2 years ago
yea they made my ears ring.... when i was 4
analmunkey 2 years ago
@celldweller321 Hear enough of one sound that makes your ears ring you will soon never hear that frequency again. The ringing is your cells dying and after its done you'll never heard that frequency again, i.e. no more ear ringing.

r they only .22 cal?
blizzard249 2 years ago
@blizzard249 Why are you asking me :\
sparks12001 2 years ago
you should always use hearing protection i mean with a 22 it's not that big of a deal but when you get up to a 45 colt then you need it specially a smith an' wesson 500
gunnyman7824 2 years ago
is that the conversion kit?
Maxie0000007 2 years ago
doesnt look like it it looks just like mine
patpat122 2 years ago
do .22's need hearing protection?
lionboy55555 2 years ago
It's recommended that you use hearing protection with all firearms. You can "get away with" shooting .22s without hearing protection if the acoustics of your range are forgiving, but it really is a good idea to always plug/cover your ears up with something. Not really much hassle at all, and your hearing isn't something you wanna take your chances with ; )
FolowingTheLamb 2 years ago
no but better safe than sorry
rodeo5017R 2 years ago
yeah
1antisupercat 2 years ago
since hearing loss is accumulative, you should use some sort of hearing protection even if you can't feel any pain from shooting a .22
aodhanof90 2 years ago
Not really, but when you go to a public gun range you have to use hearning protection well, at least where I live you have to or you can not shoot. True .22LR are no big deal when it comes to sound but the main reason why gun rages make you weare protection even ifs a .22LR for lawsuite and insurance lssues.
Captb55806 2 years ago
if ur using long rifle rounds in this sig suaer HELLZ yes it is a LOUD gun even tough its only a 22 but for a regular rifle 22 probly not but i would still recomend it

But, CCI Mini-mags are difficult to get for some reason...

how is the trigger pull
lovshooting 2 years ago
This gun has feed and extraction problems, but they can be fixed for the most part. They need to be clean to fire properly. Since it's not a personal protection carry gun, it doesn't matter if it fails to eject or feed every single time. It's great fun though. It's actually pretty loud for a .22

hey WarnerRo, I love how people who shouldn't have guns like you post trash on people's videos. This gun is actually an excellent gun, if like any gun, it is kept cleaned and lubed. How funny that WarnerRo thinks a .22 isn't a deterrent. That is a bad message to send to people looking to own a gun because a .22 can cause injury just like any other small arm.
theoracledelphi 3 years ago
This is a good point. Also, the 22 causes the most death per year because people underestimate it.
Transporter1022 2 years ago
No, I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to Warner Ro. Sorry if you thought I was talking about you. I don't talk shit on other people's videos.

looking for a good carry gun
can someone recomend me plz
i want nothing more than a 9mm
dutchfreaker 3 years ago
Perhaps a Sig 220 .45.
Or a USP Compact
XD .45
Go to your local store and ask what they recommend, you may buy a gun that you cant conceal. P.S good vid

"looking for a good carry gun"
Lots to choose from. I carry a S&W .38 snubby but also have a Bersa .380 which I am really getting to like alot. Both are easy to conceal. There are many 9mms that are great, the Walther PPS, Bersa 9mm Ultracompact, Sig P229, Taurus PT111. There are many more.

this gun is so gay. i love how he puts the clip in the wrong way at first. lol.
i just bought this gun for my girl, after she shot it she was like "i need something like you babe, something with balls".
its a good beginner gun when learning how to shoot. deff. but not good for carrying. lol i see some people on here saying they use it as a carry.
its good for target shooting as well because ammo is dirt cheap compared to my .357 mag, .38 special, .45 cal, and .40 cal
WarnerRo 3 years ago
You're so gay. I love how you say clip instead of magazine, which is wrong.

chillpillguy1 3 years ago
Do you always release your slide like that? Not trying to be an YouTube smartass, but you may find that level will last longer and the gun may feed better if you just slingshot it.
