It's basically Twilight written in Edward's point of view. but Stephanie Meyer's doesn't want to publish it because she let a close friend read it and she leaked the begining onto the internet. i think you can still find it on the internet, but it's only the first few hundred pages.

Ha really, this movie wasn't that good. Compared to Twilight is was REALLY good but on it's own not so much. If you have ever seen any of Catherine's other movies, she is actully a really good director. :) But, uhm when I read the books I was Team Jacob all the way, I don't know I was never drawn to Edward at all even in the very very beginning. Totally agreed. I found dramatic moments, funny. the scene where they run in the forest in like middle-aged clothes was hilarious to me. And Jacob shirtless was the highlight of the movie. But overall I love the series : )

oh and another thing that was different from the book was the volturi scene. they actually didnt fight that much, but im glad they added a little more action, it made it more tense.

my sister and i went to the midnight premiere, and there were 10 people total, including us, in our theatre. then we went again a few days later, and the same thing, except a few less. :D

I am reading New Moon again. I already saw the movie and I got to the part when Jacob changes and fights Paul...and it actually is exactly how it was in the book...she already knows but it is the first time she sees him change....eep and it was amazing! I cried at all the parts you did!!!

Totally agreed. I found dramatic moments, funny. the scene where they run in the forest in like middle-aged clothes was hilarious to me. And Jacob shirtless was the highlight of the movie. But overall I love the series : )

haha OMGosh I agree with like everything you said! lol During Twilight I just found myself criticizing it the whole way through because i L O V E the books and it different from it so much! This one was miles better. The acting wasn't wooden this time and I actually believed Bella and Edward's performances unlike last time. I'm also Team Edward in the books but in the movies it has to be Team Jacob because OMGosh Taylor Lautner! lol But yeah, it was just soooo much better! eep!

I had to go to the bathroom too when Bella was about to run into the black vampire ( cant rememver his name for the life of me) and i ran and i ran straight into the wall when i was turning to go out of the theater to go to the bathroom. new moon was a lot better then twilight, and it was really close to the book, the movie was really funny some parts, and really sad others, and just lots of action and suspense other parts, and I loved it! chris weitz is a great director, and I may just see this movie again, and I'm gonna buy it on dvd for sure :)

I saw New Moon twice and I wanna see it again! :) I'm having a hard time choosing sides too! Haha. It's all about Team Edward. You can't let the movies change your opinion from the books. I mean, I love Taylor Lautner and I think he did an AMAZING job, but I'm not gonna change to Team Jacob because Taylor did a better job than Rob... and has a better body. Lol.
But seriously, the movie was absolutely epic. It makes Twilight look like a complete joke. I mean, I already knew that Twilight wasn't very good, but New Moon just solidified that. Catherine Hardwicke sucks. Go Chris Weitz!
