Haha reading your description I laugh because I saw the same vid and had the exact feelings, if a 6 year old can do it why the hell can't I? A day latter I started learning finger picking, a week latter I mastered my first finger picking son(here comes the sun, which was fun) and know I am a week into this one(7 years experience, I think I can take it).

be more aggressive, but go for quality of sound too...memorize the song and be sure of what you're doing. build up your confidence and just belt it out dude. you're doing fine (btw i can play the song too :P)
