clean the film gate before use, carefully, to remove any dust. optionally - edit in premiere or some other software to clean up the edges and square the image. Good job otherwise, prefer seeing raw ciné as opposed to slick digi transfers which makes film resemble dv, what's the point?
I'm going to NYC in january for a few months. I would like to shoot this city in Super 8. Is there a lots of shops where I can buy and develop super 8mm ?

cool!! just wanted to ask, how do you get that fast motion? is that due to less fps? also is it possible to edit out the black silhoutte. While on the boat the light is sort of blinking why is that? sorry i was wondering as i plan to buy a super 8!!
The fewer the frames the faster the motion, yes. Normal frame rate is 18fps (frames per second); some shoot at 24 fps for normal. Faster than that is slow motion, slower than 18fps, is faster motion. A super 8 that shoots at 54 fps is pretty rare.
