I've seen Roy Book Binder play this many times out in the US. I can get through it myself now, but you sure hit just right. Really nice picking. I'll check out your other stuff. Keep going man. Take it you live in Wales - I lived there for many years, now in Sweden.
Hi Robin, I lived on Wales/Hereford borders, tween Abergavenny & Hereford, moved abroad 3 years ago. Have a look at Mary Flower's Terminal Rag - she's a friend from Portland, Oregon. She's not that well known outside USA but I'm sure you'll enjoy her playing.
Yeh I've heard of Mary Flowers seen a couple of her Utube bits very good. My bluesy influence is largely Stefan Grossman his guitar workshop makes this style really accessible. Thanks again
Very nice! What is this song, do you know where i might get a tab for it? P.S. it looks like you are using the freehand musicpro electronic sheet music display. If so, what r your thoughts on it? I have sheet music scattered everywhere and i am thinking of getting one someday down the road.
To be honest I would love to own a Nick Lucas or Gibson L~00 style, however this a Robert Johnson style model made by the 'Loar' company, an LH200 model(named after the Gibson vintage designer Lloyd Loar of the 30,s).Very reasonably priced and imported from the USA. Thanks for the comment.
Thanks Patman really appreciate your comment. The guitar is a 'Loar LH200' imported from the US; a fairly new model based on the 1930's Gibson style but a little cheaper !!
Hey Robin
I just uploaded a version of this same song, but man it's not as tight as yours. I love your version man.
Good stuff.
