I cannot rate this song to a companion, as I am single. I can however relate this song to... Ren and Stimpy. However this song was attained for that show, through the public archive or what have you. Being born in 1986 this was one of the most, if not THE most pinnacle show(s) of my childhood. Not that much of that matters to the common viewer, it was the linking factor to my childhood, how it relates many people to far off memories. From my childhood to many other people's memories. My experience, after loving someone for most of my  life, then losing them, is that this most elegant of human music at once soothes the grand sorrows of the soul, while enabling flowing happiness for the life of the one who has left: tears of both sorrow and joy. It is sweet happiness that makes crushing sorrow bearable and gives reason to continue life. I hope all can experience their own deeper meanings from Debussy's wonderment.

I guess people nowadays lost the passion for classics, Instead they go after all the countless beat songs like what you wrote which I don't think can even expressed the feeling that makes people imagine the the story which probably is why they need music videos to help them express. I hate it because when I hear it, it takes me back to the girl I only met once and danced with the whole night. I havent seen her since, however I guess thats what makes life what it is. Ill carry that night with me for the rest of my days and think of her fondly.
