By simple logic, homosexuals will not continue to exist much longer, if as believed by most homosexuals that homosexuality is in fact genetic, not a choice. @ToniMichelleful the unfortunate truth is that either way open homosexuality will cease to exist, if its genetics it will fade out, if its choice, it will be not be protected by the constitution, and homosexuals will have to just go back to being referred to as life partners and not be able to use the terms;husband or wife when referring to their significant other. Gay people shouldn't be allowed to force priests and other religious leaders to marry against thier beliefs, they should just accept a marriage by law, or by time, and live with it. @vaguelyhumanoid burden of what proof? the bible says what god thinks of gays. what do u expect, for somebody to do a study that proves gay people make a conscious choice to act with indecency and dont have a "gay gene" that makes them predisposed to that way of thinkin? or somebody to prove with science that the gay lifestyle is harmful for society? if anything, homosexuality is a mental illness that needs treatment. it shouldnt be encouraged or made acceptable to act that way.

@shindogg youre twistin everything around vaguelyhumanoid. that name sounds ironic really but anyhow... homosexuality IS harmful. must i get into it in detail? besides it bein a sin because God doesnt want anyone to be gay, it puts a damp on reproduction and if enough people were to be gay it would seriously cut down the worlds population if not make it go the way of the dinosaurs (as it did with the martians in this video). mental illnesses r subconscious which is what people say about gay-ness

@shindogg 1. A billion people can believe in something and it can still be wrong.
2. I know plenty of things without the bible. Like, for instance, that the sky is blue. Also, Kant, the utilitarians, Aristotle and the libertarians have all developed secular ethics.
3. We have overpopulation, and gay people have been around for centuries without humans going extinct or something.
4. All mental illnesses are subconscious, but not all subconscious things are mental illnesses.

@vaguelyhumanoid so youre sayin christianity is wrong but homosexuals are right. thats crazy thinkin i must say. secular ethics is total nonsense. if there is no punishment in the next life for what has been done in this one, then there wouldnt be a purpose for morals and people may as well do what they please and would if not for laws made by nations. gay people cant have been around that long. overpopulation is unaffected because gays still a minority. gay must be treated & then cured 1 day.

@shindogg An afterlife is not necessary for morality, just knowing what is genuinely in people's best interest. nor is morality necessary to prevent people from gunning each other down in the streets... have you heard of the concept of a "useful fiction"? States aren't necessary for law, read up on polycentric law. Gay people date back to Ancient Greece, Feudal Japan, Ancient Egypt, Medieval Persia etc. If there's overpopulation why is reproduction necessary? Why must gays be cured?

@vaguelyhumanoid people that dont have anything to look forward to after theyve lived their short life here wont give a damn about anyone's best interest usually because theres no reason to care. afterall, no rewards for bein good doesnt inspire goodness. nope never heard of "useful fiction" or a land without morality not bein chaos. dont know of any "polycentric". homosexuality shouldve been done away with then. if theres no reproduction everybody will eventually die. its so gays wont be gay.

If there is no life after death, it means we should value our lives on Earth more, because they're all we have... it makes life more precious. And we're not talking about everyone not reproducing, we're talking about some people having same-sex attractions.
