  • the modern railway [!] seem to forget that once steam ruled - long before the advent of type 66 or any other stinking clag monster - a 'King' didn't need assistance out of Weymouth then, and still doesn't now

  • isn't it more likely to be for ETS ?

  • Great Video, Does Weymouth Station have Ticket Barriers?

  • No, it's an open station and it's the end of the line. You buy tickets from the booking office when open, automatic machines on the platform or from the guards on the train.

  • Good, Thanks!

  • hi,did u say u shot this video with nokia e90? U knw mine can only shoot a 30 seconds poor quality video. Can u shoot a video of up to 10 minutes with yo e90? If so pliz tell me whr i might be goin wrong.

    thank u

  • Yes, an E90 Communicator. Film resolution 640 x 480. I have actually shot a 25 minute film on it uninterrupted but I had an 8gb memory card and video capture set to mem card. Unfortunately I dropped it into some water recently so I have gone back to Nokia N95 which has identical film handling. Files from both can be imported to windows movie maker for editing.

  • Probably for braking arriving in Weymouth and shunting leaving Weymouth. There is a long steep incline on the line between Weymouth and Dorchester.

  • don't reply to this because i know the answer its a retoricle question, but why did they have to put that 66 on the back !
