i like the energy of the crowd a lot. The game is much funner when you have a crowd thats into it. You just dont really find that anymore nowadays. But yeah gg for doing this years ago barless. v=D
The reason the video was so impressive is cause this guy was the first recorded SDG on the song. And he came across the country for the tournament.
I know about 4 kids who have AAA'ed it now and, including myself, about 5-6 more who can AA it whenever. It's not hard now, but 3 years ago that was HOLY SHIT.
Sometime soon, I wish to actually record a video of myself trying to get a AA on CANDY* on DDRMAX for the PS2 -- with Konami's DDR Controller. This will be after numerous training sessions, day and night, putting stress on a young teenager's body.
Yeah, and at tournaments like PSM 1, he 1.5 s4red PSMO before most people were even AAing it, so you have to understand why JSB had such a huge impact on the DDR scene. He was ahead of his time, in the same way Yasu and Take were able to SDG and AAA the ten footers when most of the world couldn't pass them, and Sketch modded the ten footers in the last couple of years to stretch how far a DDR player could really push himself.
FYI, this Video is from 2003 which makes it amazing how good JSB was early on. I was there and no one was at that level yet. That's why the reactions are rediculous. Today, that's no big deal but back then it was incredible.
Reflex ended up becoming an amazing player before stopping.
awesome.. JSB is probably the best player i'v seen that doesn't use the bar on 10ers... if he doesn't play anymore thats a shame.. he would give a lot of guys a run for there money on ITG... that Reflex guy just suks x_x...
This vid was BAD BAD ASS!!!! 9 Greats? Are you kidding me? Too bad i heard JSB has lost his touch. someone I know played Nova with him at e3 and beat him. but then again JSB could've been joking around. I do know that he doesn't really play anymore though. Oh well. He's still cool. Cool Video.
Awww...man... Cool... I didn't know you were actually on here. Maybe that person is lying, but it is what I heard. Oh well... who cares. At least this video is proof that you are good. Ya Know?? Anyway what have you been doing these days? I haven't seen everybody in a while. I miss the 'Aladdin's Castle' days...
From about 1:10 to 1:25 was damn near inhuman.

J.S.B.'s max combo: 573. Does that number stir anything into you guys?
TheVGC 5 years ago
Um, the max combo of The Legend of Max is 573. I've FC'd it 3 times haha.
Even though it's 500 steps, it has 73 jumps. yes, 73. This song is a jump-fest
Also, nice technique, I wish that we could fix our pads like those =)

I currently own JSB's old DDR machine, that he sold to tyler. Tyler recently sold it to me.
Still looks as sexy as it does in this video :)

This isn't JSB's DDR machine. This is Albany, NY. That machine has been at the arcade there forever.

Ah, I see.

That machine in this video is not the machine that you supposedly have.

I was at the Konami booth once during E3 and I played with my friend Tyler. I think your friend is probably lying :(
But I am not good at dancing games anymore, this is true.
