I love these guys.

Yeah, I read the first 3 Ravens and it didn't really get any better. It made her seem like a psychic Nancy Drew. That plus it's like she becomes one of like the plastics. And it makes her seem like she's not with pop culture (in the comic, she doesn't know the pussycat dolls). I know she's an intelletual, but I doubt she'd be that bad. They also marketed the fuck out of it by having "an emo comic" on the cover after the title, as a buzz word, you know.

My OMG moment was Superman #75, when Supes strikes the final blow, leaving a crater in the middle of the city, with Doomsday dead, and he lay dying in Lois' arms. The boxes of narration were just amazing, and the picture of Ma Kent watching all this on the news... it was just the most moving comic ever.

To the guy who left the phone messages: Bendis is overrated! Keep him away from DC. Its fine the way it is. I agree that Superman needs a new writer and so does JLA. Get Morrison back on JLA!

If Bendis took over, he'd have Superman assassinated, Batman: "Brand New Night"(even though it be the same story's from thirty years ago) and have most of the super-heroes lose their powers after his "Dynasty of L"(thats L for Luthor) JLA/JSA team-up storyarc.

bendis is a good writer, his daredevil reads excellently in trade and secret invasion is shaping up to be alot of fun, the marvel stories you reference though, except for house of m, had nothing to do with bendis, the one more day fiasco was editorial mandate so you cant even pin it on JMS, and captain america is written (superbly i might add) by brubaker

Thought of another OMG moment besides Daredevil #181. Thunderbolts #1 with the best ending to any comic book. Its such a classic reveal cos that usually happens much later in a series. That it happened in the first issue was so unexpected for me. Classic stuff.

And my "holy crap" moment in comics was probably the Death of Captain America. I'd stopped Captain America because I found it boring. Next thing I know, Caps dead. And I was the only one who didn't have a copy. Such a shock. Ironically I now find the comic much better without Steve Rogers.

Hey, I was wondering what you guys thought of the those side-bar comics like Star Wars and Forgotten Realms? Those comics that deal with previously existing story lines, and are sort of 'tag ons' to the preexisting mythology. Are they kind of the running joke of the comic world or what?

My OMG moment was Astonishing 4 or 5 when Kitty found Colossus locked up and alive in the Cure facility's basement. Not only was I so happy to see Pete was back ,it was also written and drawn so well.

my omg moment was the ending to the age of apocalypse. i was just so disturbed by the fact that aop magneto and his heros were all going to die in vain, sure they saved the real universe but still all their lives where erased everything they had every loved hated laughed or cried about was over. i was just really sad for them, (i know it wasn't true but still it was a great story) and was actually a little disturbed at the thought of it all.

Pete was a bit unusual in this one....what the hell was on? It's like he did a complete 180 from the past episode. Alex really brings a lot to the show and you can see that the show is missing something vital when he is not there. These guys make me laugh every episode, as much as it is for the comics..I enjoy the comedy even more!

My OMG Moment in comics has been Identity Crisis and also Black Adam killing Psycho Pirate on Infinite Crisis #5..also the whole Archer's Quest arc from Green Arrow....great read indeed and also another great OMG moment was when Ultron destroyed Slorenia in Avengers Vol.3 #20

Best OMG is hard to say. Most of them that stick out were bad. Like canceling the whole "Protectors" universe (say what you want, I loved Gravestone). Or "They just killed Hawkeye?!?" followed by "Oh yeah, it's Marvel. He'll be back."

But Favorite? How about when Batman just locked KGBeast into a room in the sewers and walks away. Unexpected, cool and classic HARDCORE Batman. It just felt like he was saying "Just die of your wounds, bastard!" God I miss the way comics used to be.

Great show! Definitely #1! I know I will get Logan #1 & Cable #1! Some other stuff I cant remember is coming out this week. I'm with Pete on X-Men Legacy. I was not expecting to like it so much and great last panel in the issue. I have a lot of OMG moments but one that sticks out is Daredevil #181 with the Bullseye vs Elektra fight. I know I have others.
