Oh goodness. I've always loved this song. Since I was 7, and I heard this on 'The Princess Diaries' when I went to go see it in theatres for the first time. I always thought, that in a way, this song is like my life theme song. I grew up, never fitting in, wether it'd be at school, or in general. I was always in the mindset that 'not fitting in' was frowned upon. This song is all about the fact that it's okay if you don't fit in. And that it can be a good thing. :)

this is the song i sang for my fiance when i proposed to her. i'd known her since grade school, she was always the odd one out. she was picked on for being diff. no one saw the pain hidden in her eye, I tried my best to help her then but i couldn't. she moved away to another country and i vowed to myself then i would find her one day to make it up to her. i did find her, 7 years later. she'd changed but was still diff in her own way. i convinced her, made her fall in love with me, like i did.

Princess diary's is one of the most amazing kids movies ever, the thing I liked is that those were the days where PG movies were not just for little kids, a teenager could enjoy them too. I loved it when it first came out (I was 8) and I love it now at 18!
