I never really got why the countries are always mad at each other. I'm not mad at any of them but i'm not proud either, every country is saying they want peace when fighting for it is eliminating peace it is like a crazy house... when it takes months to take a step toward it, you become miles away from it. I agree that there are some individuals who may be prone to violence while under the influence of cannabis(although, if the truth be known, alcohol is probably mixed in somewhere). However, you can always find exceptions to any rule, but the exception doesn't make the rule. The problem with treating war as an inevitability is that it fuels apathetic thinking, which results less people arguing against wars of choice, the ones that could be avoided. You say peace is unattainable and others hear we 'can't stop war, so why even try?' War happens because we allow it to happen. I don't think you're wrong, I just think that negativity does more harm than good. Hope can be naive and idealistic, but its strength and conviction, pessimism is despair and defeat.

I changed my mind about the peace process. Peace-making isn't linear.
You don't have to make peace with yourself before making peace with your spouse.
You don't have to make peace with your spouse before making peace in your country.
You don't have to make peace in your country before achieving world peace.
It all kind of happens together.
And honestly, sometimes it's easier to achieve world peace than it is to make peace with your spouse.
So go ahead, peace makers; color outside the lines.

I never really got why the countries are always mad at each other. I'm not mad at any of them but i'm not proud either, every country is saying they want peace when fighting for it is eliminating peace it is like a crazy house... when it takes months to take a step toward it, you become miles away from it. I agree that there are some individuals who may be prone to violence while under the influence of cannabis(although, if the truth be known, alcohol is probably mixed in somewhere). However, you can always find exceptions to any rule, but the exception doesn't make the rule. The rule with cannabis use is that it's much more likely to produce peaceful thoughts, feelings and actions rather than violent ones. Blessings and Raspect.

The problem with treating war as an inevitability is that it fuels apathetic thinking, which results less people arguing against wars of choice, the ones that could be avoided. You say peace is unattainable and others hear we 'can't stop war, so why even try?' War happens because we allow it to happen. I don't think you're wrong, I just think that negativity does more harm than good. Hope can be naive and idealistic, but its strength and conviction, pessimism is despair and defeat.

I believe that to save ourselves and our earth from destruction by wars, racism, and environmental abuses, we will all have to work for peace, and we will all need to develop a "namaste" attitude, treating each other and all living beings as holy God beings.

There is plenty of room on earth for many more, it is not how many on earth it is how we live how we cooperate, if spend money toward cooperation and balanced resources we will be fine, war has served it past purposes, like wooden shoes, you can where them if you want, i will stick with sandles :)

human peace can never be achieved, so long there are humans there will suffering.
We are a virus to the universe polluting destroying making others suffer. Our only mistake was to think that humans are a superior race than other species. I try hard yet not even nothing is reflected.

Its funny to read some peoples comments sometimes, just the ignorance some can display is incredible! To be honest as long as there are humans in the universe i doubt true peace will come! War will never cease until we have all been obliterated. Lets hope our resting place is a pleasant one when we are finally free from this world!

@kac0401 i'm all for honnor but i find peace abit hard to believe at this current time in the world purely because we are over populated and its theorised civil unrest is a mechanism to help the numbers drop just evolution is to help us become the perfect creature if we can stay alive and the dominant race to get there but we are being beaten by viruses as top of the food chain now and mabey over population has been the triggers for all the dark ages the human race has been through.

CommonSense, where is your common sense? If your friend badmouths you, steals from you, kicks you, what are you going to do back to him? FIGHT. This will continue forever until the better person says SORRY (and means it) because loving your friend is much nicer than hating and being hated.
Its the same with countries. You have been braished by maledom patriarchy into thinking constant fighting is normal. It isnt. Humans have the intelligence if they care to use it.

Peace will not come unless we work for it. We must stop allowing ourselves to be snookered into thinking that people of other cultures somehow do not want the same thing... namely food for their families, education for their children, a decent place to live and the opportunity to see a doctor when necessary.
