Just got this product yesterday it's ok not the best. I like the old American Crew I had Forming cause... it was more hard on the top and not as thin as this Pomade. So far I like Forming bettter. After I am finished up with Pomade on too.. Fiber then I will see which I like the best out of the 3. But this is not bad product like the style to it more controlable with it being little thinner. I would give this a 6.5/10 pretty fair not terrible.

It would be molding clay, But pomade will make thick hair look thinner because of the shine.

I normaly use Crew and hanz de fuko or peppermint shampoo, for conditioner i use a everyday. When i have short hair i add the product in dry, but when i pull long backslik hairstyles its easier to add in damp hair.

About the haircut. its hard to describe, but it short at the sites and a sharp fade between sites and top.

@siulbim7 : Here in Germany American Crew is salon-exclusive, you can only get it in some salons here, but one of the hairdressers told me that they can order you a box or two of whatever you want. The salon I went to has Fiber and Forming Cream, but I'm also interested in the moulding clay. I might order one.

@dvac3 : I'd use it in damp hair. I think Rasmus has mentioned in the comments quite a few times, but you should always wash your hair before styling it. Washing your hair will soften it. Then towel dry it as good as possible and then you should have no problems to style your hair.

No problem to use it in half dry hair, but it will be harder to correct the hair. if you har going for the fauxhawk hair the best result wit pomade will be in dry hair, or with the American crev fiber.
