nice in my opinion the 21 engines that hobao make are great the 28s.. hmm not so great they are pigs to tune lol dont go immiedetly for another hoabo . they are good engines for beginners but you dont realise what other engines give out compared to the 21. 8 port. id say check out piccos honestly for raing great engines.for bashing mate go for the k4.6 HO they are used for wheelis on my savage id love to se what they do on a buggy lol just remeber to change gearing when u change into any engine

oh damn thats bad umm well then yeah i guess you will need spares and if you cant find em then itl be hard to continue with the hobby so i think best choice is the mp7.5 but keep in mind that the the gxr 28 will be ALOT more thirsty and it wont rev to the high rpm ranges highest when tuned properly would be around the 36 thousend mark..not little but a 21. sized engine would give you more rpms and a lower grunt whereas the 28 is all power and no high revv power..but its up to u m8 lol
alot more cheaper if not mabey a bit cheaper. and they are cheaper to run aswell because the trophie has better build quality. and because HPI make monster trucks that are indestructible they know how to make a tough chassis and big power on the dirt and tarmac.

hey man thats a gv models truggy bumper i picked up from my lhs its deigned to fit a diffrent brand of truggies but it happend to fit the h7 so i thought why not and iv had two diffrent designes of it and they work wondors for bashin never break the front end again no damaged sjocks just a 5 quid bumper once every 20 decent hard core crashes ie 40mph nose dive off a jump or into a tree at an angle it comes out like my savage

what i suggest you do is wrap your cylinder head in tin foil ( make sure that once the engine is at a stable idle you can take it off easily so that u dnt get burned lol ) and sit down with your car and blow dry the engine with wrapped tin foil until it has a decent amount of heat around the cylinder head. (watch out for burning lol) i recommend you do this inside your house ( i mean heating it not starting it up lol) then take ur car out side keep blowdrying and it should be easier to start up
hey also if that does not work then ur pisiton is probably stuck half way up the liner so its a factory defect in the engine and if u tell hobao that they will send you a new engine nd i think im correct in saying you get to keep the old one as a friend of mine on youtube ( danicklebum ) has had the same thing happen to him so try the heating proccess if it dont work then give hobao a call my engine didnt do that but many of those machs do.. its a decen engine but if u can afford another plz do
thanks for the info. i think you're right about the stuck piston, even when i remove the glow plug it's very hard to pull and it's not constant(sometimes i can pull sometimes i can't). i will try the heating method first, if it doesnt work i will take the st to the hobby store owner, i'm lucky he's a hobao dealer lol.
use 16% fuel and a cold glow plug the one supplied is fine and btw change the servo it will break and leave u unhappy lol ( the gears inside will stripp if u hit a bump or a rock or sumthing ) get a metal geared one preferably with hi torque also.
do the break in process for 11 tanks i tried the 9 tank break in that my local hobby store suggest but when it was tuned i had smoke pouring out of my engine and its a killer when that happens lol so do 11.
yeah it is innormal but if u can somettimes start it then things are looking up just dont what ever you do is take apart the pull start and i side of the eengine cuz then they will think that you tampered with it your self lol. yeah give the heat proccess a try it should work no doubt if notthen its definetly a manufacturer defect and they will have to replace it for you.

hyper 9 its gonna be a great buggy but probably ridiculsy priced unlike this hyper 7 buggy if u dnt wanna buy this consider the hpi trophie also a good car

the stock steering servo is already a metal geared one, seems good for rtr.
