Utada Hikaru did not sing this, although I thought that she did. This song is by Cagnet, a lot of people just assume it's Hikki because of the voice. Also, she had an English album before First Love which was called Precious, but she used the named Cubic U as an artist.

I think this song was right after Utada Hikaru recorded "First Love". Being fluent in Japanese/English, this was her first attempt at an english single release. Whether it got officially promoted or not, I don't know. But she was like 16, 17 years old? Amazing voice back then, and even more amazing in making such a emotional song. Don't see JoJo doing such a thing anytime soon.
