Just compare the gameplay and Fatalities of Mortal Kombat and watch some cutscenes of Raiden in MGS4. You will see a difference. Although I did see the trailer for MGS Rising and Raiden looks pretty brutal. But MGS Rising is coming out next year so it won't make sense to have that Raiden in Mortal Kombat.
