tim.I meant didn't betray ideology .Lenin's quotes everywhere. Industrialization served military sphere which was dominant from the start till the collapse. Party had the main say (central committee etc). "International help" to all correct regimes in the 3rd world. Command economy is most ineffective. Figures were fake. So the first sputnik and Gagarin, yet shortage of everything people needed. Khrushchev at least introduced grain import.
