Louise Florence & Niall Cahill performed Pie Jesu at the Living Links Service of Remembrance at Cavan Parish Church on 15th May 2011, remembering friends and relatives who have died by suicide.
Yes, maybe I don't know much about music. Anyway, let me tell you: 1972, Gulbenkian Foundation Auditorium, Lisbon, 8th Symphony by Mahler: I was one of the singers. 1973, Queen Elizabeth Hall, London, "Retablo de Maese Pedro", by Falla, with Halfter conducting: I played the principal role of Trujaman. The same in the Lope de Vega Theatre, Seville. All of it when I was a boy. I could go on but that's not the point. The question is I can't see anything SAD or HORRIBLE. CHOIR OF DEATH?
How utterly beautiful, serene and totally stunning... the 3 priests have fantastic voices and blend so well together, well done chaps and keep singing you certainly have a gift from above... :0)x
Esa cancion me hace pensar en la belleza de amar a Dios. Me hace pensar en cuanto me ama a pesar de que no lo meresco.Gracias hermanos por cantarles a dios con esas voces que el mismo les dio.
i'm guessing ur not a singer... sarah brightman is my idol and although i adore her work, it is impossible to compare such different voices... they are a whole different league to her...! she's a soprano soloist!
omg... saw them in dublin's O2 a few weeks ago... the most amazing concert I have ever seen... despite being the only person in the audience under the age of 40
Yep, 'tis Latin, the language of the Roman Catholic Church. The translation to English is: Merciful Jesus, merciful Jesus who takes away the sins of the world, grant them peace, grant them peace. Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, grant them peace, everlasting peace. This is traditionally a funeral song/a song pleading for those who have died.
Glorious, just saw on late late dong amazaing grace, wonderful

The Armagh Cathederal is also called ST Patrick's Cathedral and it is in Ireland. It is home of the Archbishop of Ireland. Not in Rome.
