I LOVE these guys!! "Stories Without Words", was in my opinion, their best album! But it's hard to go wrong with any of their works! Still going strong nowadays!! Their music is so timeless!!

Why don't they make them like this anymore? Why? So much cliches.. the fashion, the hair style, the synthesizers that conjures up 80's shows like Miami Vice, etc.
I love SPYRO GYRO and I remember seeing them at Lincoln Center in New York City. The show was FANTASTIC as always!!! This brings back such good memories for me. I agree "Stories Without Words" is their best album for me too!!! Thank you for posting this video!!!
This is an all time fave of mine. "Cayo Hueso is Spanish for 'Island of Bones'. When Ponce de Leon first arrived at Key West, the island was littered with bones from the Indians who had lived [t]here."
What a great vid... My all time fav. Fusion band.. Remember seeing them live in 1991 and this album 'Stories Without Words' has got to be their best work for me...!
You're welcome. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the video so much! I agree...'Stories Without Words' is an AMAZING album. Did you see my other video of them performing "Nu Sungo"?
Yikes! My OTHER song!!! :( I always loved the anonymity of it, not knowing who it was by while growing up hearing it. Well now here's the video. But GOSH do I love this. ~memories~
thanks a lot for sharing this video. the reason I never saw this video before was because I was in high school, and didn't stay up late enough to see it. not to mention that I didn't hear of Spyro Gyra until 1989.
I love Tom's blond hair. it was also this color in the video they produced around the same time.
I love Spyro Gyra and would rank this number five after "Morning Dance" "You Can Count On Me" "Ocean Parkway" "Capetown Love". No matter how much I love Jay's sax this song is all about the xlaphone to me.
Thanks for posting this! Love the tight shots of Dave Samuels tearing it up!

Spyro is also one of my favorite bands. I had the privilege once to see them
live in concert performing their Fast Forward album. One word.... AWESOME.
Thank you for posting. Great vid.

I think Joyride and Pyramid are the best cuts on the "Stories" album!

Wow - I remember seeing this! Nice!
You know, I think Tom Schuman is one of THE most underrated keyboardists ever.
Love this take with the analog synth lead - immaculate. And Dave Samuels' solo is clever and as engaging as always.
Thanks for posting! :)

Their sound is so full and diverse, you can't help but to be affected by their music in a positive and groovy way. That's why I'm such a fan.

I saw them in the late 80's in The Hague.
It was one of their best concerts ever in the Netherlands.
