What an awesome piece of creation Angels of America was. Its a masterpiece. Gripping story, marvelous acting by each and every actor and the special effects...not possible to replicate this movie now and then.

I hope people don't stay away from this movie because of its homosexual story baseline. It would be a pity if they prefer to not watch this movie coz of this reason.

One of the best movies I have ever seen. Jeffrey Wright in this film was wonderful. Along with every other single actor in this film. From start to finish great the whole way though. It's on HBO on demand this month. I have been watching it like crazy lol.

anyone who lived thru the aids epicdemic of the late 80's and early 90's will not fail to be moved by this movie - anyone living with IADS and/or HIV now the life span is higher back in teh day HIV seemed to mean instant death - go in peace love share and care

@Avwillfan89 Because the film was made for television(HBO that is) it was not eligible for an Oscar. However it was eligible for an Emmy and a Golden globe which the film won as well as the actors.
