the last minute referee mistakes were circuntancial of the game. But what Chelsea did giving the ball to a team that is the best of generating plays was the real mistake. Chelsea with all the stars they had, what a team. Had Puyol and Marquez been playing Barca would have owned Chelsea in 2nd leg with a solid defense.
Barca was gifted that win. Drogba is correct. 2 clear penalties. In any truly passionate city, there's no way that ref walks out of that stadium unharmed. And I don't even care about Chelsea.

It isn't so much whether it was a fix (it was), but whether Chelsea should have had 4 or 5 penalties. Malouda, yes, in the box, 2 handballs yes (arms out), Drogba fouled by Abidal yes (should have been red card), Drogba also wrestled and brought down yes probably, Anelka possible penalty :no. Platini and UEFA made it clear they didn't want all English final again, and then we have the ref giving what Mourinho (at Inter) called historically bad performance. Shameful, could have been 6 goals

the last minute referee mistakes were circuntancial of the game. But what Chelsea did giving the ball to a team that is the best of generating plays was the real mistake. Chelsea with all the stars they had, what a team. Why Chelsea didn´t generate more offensive plays, they didn´t care about scoring another goal, all they care was that miserable goal that they were defending. At the end, it wasn´t enough for them. They should score at least 2 more goals to be in a good position.

I like what the commentator said, Barcelona had 63% possession while Chelsea only had 37% meaning most of the football came from Barca.That being said the only reason that Chelsea were leading was because Barcelona were being forgiving when it came to taking chances. Look closely at these so called penalty claims and most are just bs, Pique handball ok maybe but it cancels out Henry's penalty from Camp Nou. In the end the better team that played clean real football won, Barcelona.

Barca had to play without Puyol who was unfairly booked in the previous leg as well as Marquez. Also, they had clear pealty claim in the first leg which wasn't given and Ballack should have been sent off in the first leg. Overall if Chelsea lost the first leg which they should have Barca would have gone through. Abidal unfairly sent of 65th minute which no one seems to remember either. Had Puyol and Marquez been playing Barca would have owned Chelsea in 2nd leg with a solid defense.
