@CemetaryGatesML Hey retard you don't have to be impolite and call people retarded. Although I don't have a Prius or a diesel vehicle, in my opinion this Prius is the way to go. Gas prices here in the United States are pretty much up to $5.00 a gallon for regular gas and climbing. And diesel over here in California is about $6.00 a gallon and still climbing (more than Premium). So this car go go 50 MPG while using regular gas. So do the math.

for starters, diesel everywere i've seen is actualy cheaper then regular gas ( here in canada diesel is 1.20 a Litre and regular gas is 1.34 litre.

the pirius in real world tests is capable of 35-45 mpg, the manufacture specs are false.

and a diesel engine is capable of 45mpg easy, costs less, and you dont have to drive super slow

oh, and FYI ... the batter technology in a priius is stupid, range is horrible, more efficent to spend 1$ on gas and get 10km out of it, the 1$ worth of electricity.

awh, i bought a prius for its straight line acceleration... you see i street race and a mechanic told me this was a grate race car because of its Areodynamics and its horsepower! well let me tell you i have raced my Prius 319 times and won 289times thats results for you! buy this FOR ITS "STRAIGHT LINE ACCELARATION!"

i personally think this car is ugly but it does have the best gas mileage in the united states i would rather go with a hyundai accent one of the cheapest cars in america maybe the cheapest $13000 for the basic car. for the prius u would have to spend in the 20000 u would have all that money left over to purchase gas for a cheaper vehicle that still gets good gas mileage but thats just my opinion

i'm actually interested in buying one of the 1st gen ones as a first car if they don't put the extra 2 billion into cash for clunkers. I'm just worried about the traction battery.

also, the JBL system is 9 speakers, not 6.

The solar panels on the roof of the new Prius is to help keep the car cool inside when it's hot out.
