Yeah this is quite an inept attempt at transcribing lyrics. Firstly "..." does not mean "stretch out a note". Secondly, a typewriter-effect to display lyrics--that is, one letter at a time--is incredibly tedious when you'd like to know exactly what the lyrics are before they're spoken. This is made worse when the lyrics don't appear until after they have been sung.
