My thoughts: rather than scan and frisk everyone, why don't we single people out based on characteristics which all terrorists thus far have had in common. Ok, there's the obvious commonality, they're all Muslim, that is if we ignore McVey, the unibomber, and others. But there's a more accurate characteristic for describing 'em all. I think the TSA discriminates against the disabled now. People in wheel chairs or has embedded metal items in their bodies (rods, pins, etc) will always set of metal detectors. So, they will be the first to be groped and fondled. We are going on vacation this coming summer and when my son sets of a metal detector there better not be any inappropriate touching! I do not want his first sexual experience be with an ugly TSA agent.

TSA does not want to answer questions about the implications of future health issues that could occur by being regularly scanned. Maybe they don''t even know if there are any health implications to the public .I think TSA plans to replace the Metal Detector with the Full body scan and not just in airports but in all mass transit areas too..Look at being body scanned in places like Federal building courthouses tourist attractions like Disneyland any place mass numbers of people congregate.

by the time people get scanned that much we should know if it's harmful. The TSA employees are exempt from the scanners.. maybe because that would be too much exposure on a daily basis. Government officials are being made exempt too.So much for Leading by example do they know something the Public doesn't know about the body scanners? Or are they simply concerned for their health same as the general Public and don't want to risk what's being forced on the public

The firemen heard explosions in the buildings. Are the firemen nuts? Flying to Pittsburgh in December for my son's college graduation - I never set off any alarms so God willing I will escape with my virtue intact! Seriously though I rarely choose to fly anymore. It's just too much trouble. I do NOT need any unnecessary radiation. I know, I know safer flights blah blah blah....I don't want to hear anymore ...Happy Thanksgiving. Thankful that I rarely fly.
