Yes, all these kind of dogs are bred to protect sheep from bears and wolfs.

Sometimes they get killed, sometimes the woives get killed.

Dogfighting however is disgusting.

Varlay was an AMAZING example of a true Kavkaskaya Ovtcharka. Every single time I watch this video, the goosebumps arrive. I love this dog. I applaud all the effort you put into him. I hope 1 day very soon to have a Volkodav like Varlay, but I will not hold my breath for him to live up to that dog. And it is so amazing how he responded to you treating him like your son. I hope you have another one someday who reaches this dogs level. ZIVEO
