You have to have meant potassium nitrate not chlorate. Unless...... your aluminum powder is like 300-500 , mesh, spherical, then yes it could burn slower. But regular pyro grade Al and chlorate will blow so fast, and occasionally without your permission.

i think you are kinda stupid. in the description you said potassium chlorate is weaker than potassium nitrate, not really. if the flash powder is made correctly you would get a thump not a fire starter.

i guess alot more oxidizer than fuel.. the more fuel, the longer the flame/flash will last..

Le mieu pour un flash c'est 75% de chlorate pure 15% de charbon et 10% de souffre.

Les 3 composant doivent ètre le plus sec et le plus fin possible.

C'est tres dangeureux ta flash,on ne melange jamais des chlorates et du soufre! ( et c'est pas de la flash dailleur,la flash contient un metal.)

C'est pas de la Flash sa, la Flash tu approch l'alumette et sa s'enflamme directe. Ca brule si vite que tu vois pas la flamme
