waaa this music ^^ i still remember fighting that swordman with monica in the zepellin while protecting the little girl with max in the lighthouse. Making photos, having fun at the finny frenzy, recruiting people, weapon and steve developement, dungeon grinding...you can do almost everything in this game.  In my opinion, one of the best games on ps2

@SonOfFumfr In my opinion, come out with too many sequels and the series is going to start to go downhill. 1 sequel or a trilogy is usually a good place to stop unless it's a ridiculously popular game. Which, unfortunately, the dark cloud series is not.

@Calenthedestroyer lol. I have 90 hours of playtime and I'm not even close to getting the platinum trophy. Grinding the adamtoises and trying to get all weapons was just too much for me. I really doubt I'll ever get it. They went a little overboard with upgrading the weapons it's way to expensive considering how pointless the upgrades are.

@Calenthedestroyer Pretty much where I gave up. I just find it funny how much stronger they are then the final boss. You think he'd be the strongest or at least the last hunt mark, not a regular enemy.

Good grief, i hated this boss..... i spend like a million premium chicken and repair powders, and the Dark elemental fight, does not make is less hard.... but in these games... the last boss never dies in one fight!

Sorry for this late reply, but I think the Last bosses were kind of annoying... lol. Griffon and the Dark Element did a lot of damage to you I think, and Griffon is his second form or whatever was able to freeze you and stuff all the time... and for the Dark Element you had a Time Limit to beat him and you had to switch Max and Monica all the time when he changes colors from Blue to Purple.

And just for the heck of it, I'll tell you about the most annoying bad guys for me. It's the elements... damn double clapping move that does a lot of damage... Not sure about the other bad guys but I hate those ones...
