I was a drug deala also more like about half of a drug deala than he was but not a nickle and dimer... the lord revealed him self to me also and I have turned away from my old ways too... so yea you are right to get to heaven we have to believe and follow the bible till the end...

I read the word and I envision us christians more like warriors for the lord Jesus Christ facing darkness face to face always against evil and without fear. @awakened2011 Just to "Believe in Jesus" is not enough - even the devil and his demons "believe in Jesus" in that they KNOW who He is, and they BELIEVE He IS the Son of God, and GOD HIMSELF! That is NOT obviously going to get them to heaven! A truly Born Again believer is going to also FOLLOW THE TEACHING IN THE BIBLE, UNTIL THE END! BELIEVING AND FOLLOWING is what get's you to heaven!

@joel10000a I agree 100%... as a kid and teen I didn't believe in god... I didn't know anything about god... then in my early 20's I wanted to know but never obeyed god nor followed scripture, I didn't pray, didn't worship god from the heart, read scripture somewhat and only grasped what I thought was a benefit to me... Now I'm a devoted christian-I love god with all my heart, all my soul, and with all my mind, and all my strength. I'm now baptized and member a church. Thanx for your comment :)
