Part B: Why NOW? And why are they DOING THIS DECEPTION to such a degree? Simple! AFTER all the years of lopsided and significant de-regulation (don't get me wrong: some few regulations are or were insensible: granted) 'THEY' created the very circumstances that made our financial institutions, companies and policies extremely vulnerable to abuse by unethical, unscrupulous conflict-profiteering modern-day pirates, con-artists, embezzlers, etc.! Part A: Actually Mike; it's quite appalling to watch! The truth be told; Rick and others like him feign ignorance! They know exactly what they are doing. These mixed-success efforts to confuse the public, to undermine confidence in government are part of a long-time, broader effort to create the kind of 'shell game' market conditions that 'insiders' can make quick, massive profits from. @phillipgaley Until recently I worked in the same building that housed the foodstamp office. There were no shortage of people with tea party crap on their vehicles who came into apply. It seems that a high percentage of teabaggers live off the government they claim to hate.
@scitops I wonder, but, with 60% the population living off of govt checks, mere logic of probabilities might go to your side, . . . which, is more or less of a Pyrrhic triumph—better luck next time, Buddy, . . . and, I would wonder to know that, the food stamp people hired the many of those who turned in applications, . . .
I guess it doesn't occur to Santelli that given the increasing oversubscription in Treasury auctions, his whole worldview might be wrong. I mean, it's been 3+ years now that people like him have been warning about high and even hyper-inflation, rejection of Treasuries, and yet here we are with the trend continuing to head in the opposite direction.
That's quite a lag in monetary effects from their perspective. There's no reason to believe these teabagger idiots will ever learn a damn thing.
