Spick? That's WAYYYYYY south of here! No we can't bait legally. Not in Alberta where I hunt. And to qualify for B&C you sign the form swearing it was a 100% legal kill. Here, we don't bait but there are so many grain fields why would you? Both my wife and I scored on shooter bucks this year in barley stubble fields.

@aaronische I live in Saskatachewan where it is legal to bait. I have never done it, nor do I want to. I like to stalk and call. Lots of work but I do have a 171 1/8 giant from 2008 with a muzzle loader. Canadians shoot beg deer for a variety of reasons. Mostly because we have them.

I have an 8 pt on my wall I killed about 20 years ago, he is much bigger than this one rack wise, and he dressed at 225 lbs. I killed him in Clay County Indiana by I-70. He is a PIG!!!

South Texas brush country has some of the highest natural protein in the forbs and brows in the state. That's why the antlers get so big.

Bait we use (corn) adds nothing to antler size.
