The truth is much simpler: The Americans could not go to the moon for a reason of technology: Difficulty of protection against extreme conditions, difficulty of landing on the moon in conditions which are very different from landing in earth's atmosphere, and difficult to simulate, with a technology which still was in infancy in the sixties.
Going to the moon is not so easy, and very dangerous!
When you see how it has been done, it looks totally amateurish; no way it could succeed this way.
I know that some believe that the photos are fake because they believe that the Americans want to hide UFOs and secret bases they have built on the moon, but I don't believe in this of course, it is total fantasy, it makes me laugh.
Although these ones also try to prove the footage is fake (and they are right in this), they do it for a reason different from mine.
When I say that there is a flying saucer in the astronaut's visor, I don't really mean it's a real flying saucer from another world of course, I mean it's a fake one, a set-up from the fakers.
I would certainly not believe there really are alin flying saucers flying over the moon and landing on the moon; it's science fiction for grown-up kids!

In the middle of his parade of videos casting aspersions on Apollo, he featured one in which some wacko ex-NCO claimed there were alien artificts (BIG ones), on the moon, and NASA has been covering up the fact that Apollo discovered them. He didn't seem to think there was any contradiction there.
I feel sorry for HB. He is literate and at times he can be rational. But he keeps falling back into his hole of self delusion. I think he may be too far gone now.
