This was such a phenomenal show, it was really sad when they took it off the air. It was getting 6 to 10 million viewers on Thursday nights then they switched it to Friday nights when their largest audience typically was out 'on the town' as it were. The ratings fell to 3 million viewers. They should never have changed the schedule & given the show a chance to grow an audience. The fans tried a massive write-in campaign but the selfish cbs cancelled it anyway. That totally sucked.

Can't believe it's 'Tiny Eyes' from Cougar Town lol! But this was an AWESOME SHOW! Yet another great show that was canceled along with Freaks & Geeks! I never saw two such shows with a great stream of 'classic' music! You don't see that in shows too much! Unreal!

Just watched it on video. Absolutely brillant. Loved the kids, music and characters. Light hearted with no swearing violence and very little sex. Would love to see series 2.

They showed this in Britain in 2010. It could have been good if US mainstream networks didn't believe their viewers were still stuck in conservative 1970s Smalltown USA. Great muisc in it.

omg this show was awesome... i CRIED when it ended... it was incredible... they never give shows a chance at all... i heard network execs really liked it but numbers not big enough to renew sadly

I disagree - I think the kid characters were fine. The whole show rocked from start to finish. It would not have been better on HBO because it would have been more racy, and we've seen tons of that. The fact that they had to clean it up for prime time made it what it was - about love.
