nice worked for me... the only thing is I tired the sbsetting thing as well and if you hit power on that it doesnt give respring option on my iphone4 :( but it does give other options, so i f i wanna just respring i use the power button and respring is a option from there, Thanks

restarting springboard is ALOT more easier then just rebooting your ipod toch/iphone/ipad... doing this will allow you to do it faster

respring means u reboot just ur spring board. reboot means the whole phone turns off and then turns back on.hope this helped:))

Rebooting is when the device goes back to the Apple logo to turn itself off and turn it on again.

Respringing is when you quit the home-screen app (SpringBoard). The iPhone can't run without the SpringBoard, so it relaunches it. Please tell me if this helped.

WhT IS RESPRING?

if your phone is frozen, or running slow, (or like some cydia apps require this) respring is like the easier version of rebooting.

Instead of completely restarting the phone, you can just restart the springboard aka the iPhone's desktop

Think of it like either logging out your computer then logging back in OR completely restarting the computer
