Savior is the same as the Pure Good Ending.

In other words, save every main character that lets you have a choice whether to kill them or not.

And by the way... the switch does NOT glow. That's the key whether you kill him or not.

Killing Alex is bad because no matter how much he deserves it,no matter how much he begs you in his audios, he is still a person (sort of).Which makes it murder.I mean, yes Lamb has driven him crazy. But that makes him JUST as much a victim of her as you are & yes, he does try to kill you. But only because crazy Alex was trying to defend himself from someone he had every right in believing had set out TO kill him. It was self-defense. And doesn't crazy Alex have every right to live as sane alex?

Bleh my first run I killed Gil as it seemed to me the best thing to do.

IE it would have seemed more cruel to let him live considering ( attempting not to post any spoilers here :P ) Oh well I guess, at least I managed to get all of the other achieves for the SP portion with that run regardless :P ( One of the achieves was a bit of a shock to me considering I did not know it was one at the time.. the one that's a reference to Bioshock 1 )

What I did was just do a whole bunch of achievements in one run: Savior, Dealt with every little sister, rapture historian (100 audio diaries), master gatherer (600 adam gathered), all weapon upgrades, research master, big brass balls (no vita-chambers), totalling 220 gamerscore. Just do it on easy, it's worth playing through twice anyway.

For those of you who have not had your question answered about how NOT to kill Gil Alexander, when you pull out the genetic key from the machine, another button pops up and flashes every couple seconds (Notice not the yellow 'Objective!' glow), when this button pops up, simply walk away from Gil and begin the next objective, He'll yell out a profanity at you and your stupidity and shiut the door behind you, don't take it personally, he IS insane :)

Right now I'm at Fontaine Futuristics (The part with Gil Alexander) on a run only using the drill, hack tool & research camera (The entire game) on hard mode, no vita chamers. I have 800 dollars always maxed out, full drill and hack tool ammo constantly, because the game is easy. I would explain more, but I'm running out of characters.

Hehe! You know, you can get a couple of secret achievements along the way. Just a tip: Save before you meet Grace. Then kill her, and you get a secret achievement. After that, you just load the last checkpoint and continue :) Best of luck :) Also, don`t forget to Subscribe for more!

@fpsvincent142 Hehe! What I mean is: You save the game before you meet Grace. Then if you kill her, you get a secret achievement. When you have killed her, you just reload save where you saved the game where she is still alive. Then you just continue. Hope this makes sense :)
