Yea, this is one of the best rock songs ever, it looks to me like Ritchie is the only one faking it, I wonder why? Funny, most of his fans could do a better job faking this than Ritchie did in this video,but thats why Ritchie is so brilliant, because this solo was improvised like most of his solo's.Ronnie is at his best, Amazing.Cozy is another great talent of our time. Long Live Rock N' Roll might be my favorite album with Ronnie James Dio on vocals. But between Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, Rainbow Rising, Heaven and Hell, Mob Rules and Holy Diver it's not a easy pick! To jump in and out of bands like Ronnie James Dio and still mainstain a class-act (not just someone who is still famous only because what he did several decades eariler) is a game very few has played.. and did anyone ever match Ronnie James Dio? But in whole - this album is the peak of the Rainbow. My subjective opinion though. As to Dio, i believe no other singer could possibly be better for the very spirit of Rainbow's music. Voice, look, energy - everything! Dio, may him rest in peace, was simply born for Rainbow. Others either suited or not.

@GeorgVanHalen Mob Rules is my favorite album of Ronnie's music career. Holy Diver isn't far behind. It's hard to rank them all but Mob Rules just really stands out to me. Dehumanizer is another classic album, I thought that was one of Dio's best albums vocally.

Blackmore's solo in this is one of the greatest "heavy" solos of all time. Just when you think it cant be pushed any further, he takes it far beyond... out of site! Into different timings. Try playing it, and you'll get what I mean. Paganini would have been green. But he's obviously mining it to the studio version. Which cannot cannot be bettered.
