Just get a 7th gen civic instead. I have an '03 EX coupe and get anywhere between 37 and 40 mpg with mixed driving and properly inflated tires.

The fit is far more well built. Honda has always made better engines than toyota and I from what Ive seen from the Fit it looks like a stripped plastic box. The fit is far better car in every aspect.

I prefer the Yaris, if you are buying these cars it is because they have good fuel economy and are inexpensive. The Yaris costs less, gets better fuel economy, the 2 door looks sportier. and after I test drove them both I prefer the Yaris, comfier, and feels zippier. Also I like having cruise control, Fit doesn't come with cruise control, in it's most inexpensive model. and no I am not paying 23,000 for an econo box....

i guess when you buy cars like that you dont care about power, its more of fuel economy and compact size.. 100 HP, 120 HP, it wont beat a standars 200HP car.

Is it just better to buy a used Civic or Corolla? or something bit bigger and that can till give you good fuel economy? well i guess its jut me

2009 Fit is 117hp 2007 is 109...2006-2009 Rio/Accent is 110hp ..Yaris is like 107 Aveo is like 107 (both are around 104-108) Suzuki SX4 is like 120-130 somthing ...

I will never own a Honda so scratch that one out lol..and Aveo isnt for me..Yaris I would get because its the only one that comes with 2 doors...But I still wouldnt get a yaris because the accent/rio engine has a few more horses

I honestly like the Honda Fit. The reasons follow:

1. The interior is nicely designed, the centre console is well organized and the dials are very visible.

2. The styling is the nicest out of the two, although I do like the Aveo's new front-end treatment.

3. Probably the quickest of the bunch, performance for a lot of drivers is key and this one hits the spot!

Yeah I agree. I like the looks of the Fit most, and I think it is the safest of the group (correct me if I'm wrong). The Aveo was assembled in Korea, the engine is from Korea and the transmission from Japan, how funny is that?
