I actually fell in love with this song a few months ago and was looking on youtube for a video and came across this and now and infactuated with this woman.

Whilst this video would not exist had Byrne not created the music, the pillar upon which this entire piece rests, the pure genius displayed by the dancer stands out. Before your eyes you witness an exquisite symbioisis of the aural and the visual. You the viewer are invited to witness some quite spectacular moves being bust.

Many souls have attempted this song with dancing yet all have failed.

However, this particular interpretation avoids the trap of pretension and is quite simply, a triumph.

I would like to know what it reminded you of, and what the book is. You have left us guessing - it could be ANYTHING. It may even be ILLEGAL . It was a book about Shamanism. I dont remember the title but the author was Carlos Castaneda.

Their was a dancer in it who worked in brothel except she wasnt a hooker. She would do a dance for customers. The dancing was great but terifying becuase it evoked a universal authenticity.. for lack of a better word. One man ran off crying after having seen the dance which the woman does with a mirror angle to her rearside so you can see her and the image.

This is one of the best videos I have ever seen. There are are a lot of things that make it special. In particular I like:

- The dancer getting lost in the music

- No moves are taboo

- General happiness

- It was done in a 'living space'

- The hint of the 'running man' move at 2m 6 s.. nobody has attempted that move since 1982

- She is very sexy
