i saw these guys in lubbock this last satuday at jakes backroom hell i got to work the show even meet the band like Tom the violin slash key board slash accordion player it was a really great show and they draw a very big crowd as well one of the best small venue shows ive ever seen and one hell of an opening act by the thrift store cowboys as well, none the less good job Tom and and Chris you all were great may GOD bless you all and have great success!!!!!!!!
He's playing a theremin, you dumbass. If you don't know that a theremin is, look it up, maybe you'll learn something for a change. You've given too many handjobs you think everything is a handjob.
@Peno420 HEEY Mister Know-It-All! Why don't you go fuck yourself in your fat fucking ass with your elitism. I highly doubt that anyone who isn't well into music or electronics would know what a theremin is. And I am terribly sorry for replying to a comment over a year old.
i saw them at lollapalooza and they were phenominal, the drummer played drums with 1 hand and a trumpet in the other hand and the lead guy was playing the bazooki with a booze bottle for a slide
It seems like a modified Theremin, I think. Usually they have the circular metal bar on the side to controll Dynamics/Rhythm. This one only has the part for the pitch.
I love this song. That's all.

I love how he uses a theremin. I can't think of a single other mainstream band that does it.

redwingtrekie24 2 years ago
@LegendaryGIR The Polyphonic Spree did before them and also Yann Tiersen,
the french musician who used a Ondes Martenot, the father of the theremin

@LegendaryGIR Come to the San Francisco bay area. We have about 7 bands that use em'
Mainly Steampunk.
Come when the hobo goblins play, you'd like them.
Watch The Homeless People.
Go to basically anywhere in the Oakland "poorboy" music scene.

Shawn King, the drummer. Nick Urata, the singer. Just for future reference.

The hand thing he's doing is playing a theremin. Difficult to play well..and he's doing a great job with it!
